Okay so we are FINALLY going back. We went in 2009 and had to cancel 2010 bc of new job and relocation. I have put together a plan for dining. I wanted to try a few new places this time in addition to our favorites last time. We did Deluxe Dining before and will do it again.

The trip will be DH, me and DD (7 in August). We will be staying at BLT and will be there 10/14 -10/20. We have not ate at Chef Mickeys, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Tusker, Rainforest, Kona, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, or Tonys. Thoughts on the ADRs planned below:

Sunday MK

Lunch Magic Kingdom Crystal Palace
Dinner Grand Floridian 1900 Park Fare

Monday MK & HS
Break Contemporary Chef Mickeys
Lunch HS Sci-Fi
Dinner HS Brown Derby - Fantasmic

Tuesday AK
Break Animal Kingdom Tusker House
Lunch Animal Kingdom Rainforest Café
Dinner Polynesian Kona Café

Wednesday EPCOT
Break Polynesian O'Hanas
Lunch EPCOT Le Cellier
Dinner EPCOT Coral Reef

Thursday MK
Break (None to allow for 2 credits for CRT)
Lunch Magic Kingdom Cinderella's Royal Table
Dinner Magic Kingdom Tony's Pizza

Friday EPCOT & MK
Break (None to allow for 2 credits for Brown Derby)
Lunch EPCOT Akershus
Dinner MK Be Our Guest

Thanks! :yay:

Sorry a play on words. I changed the title. I think I probably should have posted under the Dining Reservations thread. Just looking for thoughts if this is too many meals to plan.

And I would take Be Our Guest off the list. The official opening date for that hasn't been announced yet.

Wishful thinking on my part. Any thoughts on a last night dinner that my daughter would love? This will most likely be our last trip for quite a while.

For me? Yes. I'm not big on three meals a day at table service, especially if there are buffets in the mix. Some people like it because of the character meals specifically, so I'm probably not a good person to ask.

She might enjoy Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. They have silly antics if you like that sort of thing.

I don't know if she would. When we were in Epcot she was unnerved by the cruel stepsisters. She seems to be okay with the attention of the Princesses but not if she's singled out or "picked" on and I mean that in a very nice way.

We usually do the deluxe dining as well, but we almost never do Breakfast unless it's a character meal (Chef Mickey's) and don't do 3 meals in one day... usually book sig meals that use up 2 each day.

My only other recommendation is to not worry about having to eat dessert AND an appetizer for every meal. We found that we ordered such nice itmes for main entree, we could skip dessert or app and still save money on every meal. :thumbsup2

Have fun

You hit all the ones my DD7 liked from previous trips. I would love Be Our Guest to be open when we go in Oct too :thumbsup2 Wishful thinking.
We usually only book one TS on AK day since it's a short day (8-5) My kids love all the rides and plays there so we would feel rushed around to make both ADR TS. Would hate to spend 3-4 hrs at a table when there isnt alot of time. IMOP.

Thanks All!

JDUB - Would you recommend Tusker or Rainforest for AK day? DH is paraplegic and AK is a rough day for him. We have to rent an ECV and it is still hard for him to get through the day. I know he will probably opt out of dinner that night and do room service.
