So I am going to WDW in a little over a month, just booked the trip with my sister.:goodvibes We are going without the DDP for the first time, to save money (I did the math and we are not big dessert and soda people so it works for us). However, I really loved both Boma and Kona the last time I went and I think my sister would enjoy them too. I am thinking Boma for breakfast one day and Kona for lunch another. I am toying with the idea of forgoing the whole ADR process, especially since both seem to have ample time slots available online. Also, Boma was practically empty for breakfast during peak season last time and this time I am going off-peak. Any thoughts?

Up until my last trip I would have said that you could probably get away without having an ADR for Boma breakfast. They always seem to have plenty of openings. But on our last trip we had scheduled Boma on a morning that happened to be pouring rain. When we got there the CMs at the desk were telling guests that the walk-up wait time was about 45 minutes (our ADR was for 9:30 am or so). I was glad we had an ADR.

Sounds like we had the same initial experience, but your right, dining can be variable. Thanks for the head up!
