We are taking family with us in Jan 12. My DH, kids, and I are in one villa while 4 extended family members will be in another villa. Can I make ADRs for 8 under my villa's reservation? It would just be easier for me to do all the booking, but I don't want any surprises when my window opens up. Thanks!

Not a problem. Our initial villa reservation only had DH and I listed on it when I made my ADRs for 6.

As mentioned above, absolutely. Disney wants more than just those staying at Disney resorts to eat there :). And they certainly want to allow for larger groups to dine all together (well, except CRT where it seems getting a table for more than 4 is tougher than pulling teeth).

The numbers of people for any and all dining reservations are in absolutely no way tied to any number on your resort reservation. Two completely different systems. Even when taking dining plans into account, it doesn't matter. They'll handle the different makeup of people and plans at the restaurant just fine (though, you may want to tell them how you'd like it split up ahead of time if that's a concern, it's easier for them to ring it up that way rather than split it after).
