Is it possible to make an ADR for a restaurant in MK during a special holiday event nights (i.e. MVMCP) without having a ticket to the special event?

I'm just curious as to how this would work:

1)So, say I want to make an 8:30 ADR at LTT for dinner the same night that theres a MVMCP. I have park tix but not party tix, not do I plan to participate in the party-just eat at the restaurant. Could I do this?

Or

2) I"m not sure what time the park closes off to the public for the parties, but sat they close to the public at 6pm. I already had a 5:30 ADR at CP, which will take more than 30 minutes to eat at. What happens there? They just escort us out whenever we finish eating?

1- I believe the dining line CMs will ask if you have party tix. If you don't they will not let you make an ADR for party hours.

2- If you don't finish your meal until after the party starts, you will be pointed toward the exit when you leave the restaurant.

When you make your ressies, you will be asked if you have party tix.If you don't , you will not be allowed to make ressies for party hours. If you have a ressie for right before the party and are there when the party starts, you and your group will be allowed to finish dinner then escorted out of the park.

Do they rush you out or can you take your time?

They will rush you out since you have not paid to be there like everyone else who has. All partygoers will have a wristband to prove they entered with a paid ticket.

Another thing to remember, most "party night" TS ADR's book up very fast, even in the hours prior to the party. It's popular practice for partygoers to get ADR's prior to the party starting, so they have a full belly and are at the park before the exclusive event starts. So getting ressies on those nights (prior to the parks closing to the general public) might be difficult....

For example, we usually book ADR's for around 5pm at LLT so we can be out and in the park long before the party starts at 7pm.

You won't be rushed through your dinner, but once you are out of the restaurant, you will be politely but firmly escorted toward the exit. Since you don't have tickets for the party (and therefore aren't entitled to experience any of the party happenings), you will be expected to leave the park. BTW, those without wristbands showing they have paid for the party will not be allowed to ride rides, watch parades or fireworks, shop, eat, or even use the restrooms in the park once the party has started, so there really is no reason to linger.

Why would you want to make an ADR for 8:30 in the park when you know everyone else there at that time has paid extra to be there. I know you stated you would not participate in the event, is there another reason you would want to do that at such a late hour?

No, I meant will they rush you through your dinner? We have no interest to attend something we did not pay for, but I don't like to be rushed through a meal just because it cuts into the party time.

I don't know how you'd get into the MK for an 8:30 ADR because you have to have a party ticket and/or wristband to get in and/or stay in after the park closes at 7:00.

You can make and ADR at MK during a hard ticket even but it would have to be an ADR for before the party. If your meal carries into a hard ticket event you won't have CMs hovering over you to rush you through your meal but you will be expected to leave after you finish since you did not pay to be there. Sometimes on nights of hard ticket events they don't take ADRs past a certain time until much closer to the party date than 180 out. I'd suggest either making an ADR for much earlier than party start time or eat in a restaurant that isn't at MK.

No, you definitely won't be rushed through your dinner. Now, if you lingered for hours after the restaurant closed (only certain restaurants are even open during the hard-ticket parties), you might get subtle hints to wrap it up. But you won't be hustled out the door.
