After almost four hours of trying online and then being on and off hold to WDW Reservations on the telephone.... we're done! I don't think I've ever been so frustrated - after recognising our reservation number, not recognising our reservation number, telling me I didn't have an account and then constantly logging me out and crashing, I sort of gave up and called!

We managed to get everything we were hoping for, at around the times we wanted (with a couple of exceptions)...

* Captain's Grille (after our first full day in the parks, we wanted something at the resort so the girls can crash if they need to).
* Coral Reef
* Cinderella's Royal Table (much earlier than we originally wanted, but it's going to be Labor Day and we expected it to be difficult to get a reservation!).
* Crystal Palace
* Via Napoli
* Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre
* 50's Prime Time Cafe
* Planet Hollywood (I'm really not a massive fan of Planet Hollywood as a rule, but we wanted to schedule an evening or two eating in Downtown Disney and it was somewhere we thought the girls would enjoy)
* T-REX (only a really early reservation was available, so I'm going to call T-REX directly in a couple of days to hopefully reschedule!)
* Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review (we managed to get Category 1 seating, yay!)

The only one we didn't get was Be Our Guest as there were no free dinner slots for the duration of our entire stay :sad: But, we're going to keep checking every day and hopefully something will come up! If not... we'll definitely go for lunch!

It feels so real now! I can't believe it's all done!

According to the dining reservations threads, no one can book BOG for August at present, they were showing then apparently on Thursday all availability disappeared!

Oh! That makes me feel better!

If that's the case though, I wish Disney had said so... Instead, she said they were 'fully booked' that week!

I should pay more attention to the Dining threads!

Having been off work for a week I have spent far too long on the Disboards! Back to work tomorrow and I don't get 3G signal so no checking until I get home. How will I cope!! ;)
If I see anything else about BOG I'll let you know. We are going to try go for lunch one day, people seem to rave about the CS lunch
xx

yey !! feels soo good i did mine yesterday am really excited now !!

we had loads of places on our table service list and were not too fussed about our cs credit so we are going to just do cs at bog , the lunch menu looks lovely and at least we get to go in and sit down and look round

We managed to book BOG online on Tuesday, had a few times and dates available, we have booked it for August 25th using our 180+10.

We're staying at the yacht club in late September and hoping to go to be our guest for dinner one night. When are you going, and did you try booking 180 days in advance? Just wondering if we'll have a similar problem.

Yeah, I tried to book today (day 180, we're staying 23rd of August until 3rd of September) and I tried to book for any date during our eleven night stay - and I was told that no dates were available.

Thanks to Claire (and DISboards) it appears that quite a lot of people have had similar problems the last few days with all availability disappearing for August/September. It looks like a technical error - if so, it should be sorted soon!

I'm reluctant to believe it was simply fully booked when we tried - as we started trying at 11:00am this morning on the dot and even got through to them on the phone at 12:01pm, pretty much as soon as they opened.... and it's incredibly unlikely that all dinner slots went in those first few minutes, especially for all of the +10 days!

xx

Yeah, seems unlikely. Fingers crossed you'll get something sorted, and so will I. We go September 21st so got a few weeks to go before making our adr's. Would you let me know if you have any luck getting a reservation?

Of course! We're going to check everyday (Beauty and the Beast is our girls favourite, so, this was our priority for dinner!) - I'll let you know if something comes up!

Looks good :thumbsup2 I've just organised all our ADR's too :goodvibes I'm way past the 180 day mark but this was a fairly last minute trip for us compared to usually booking nearly 11 months out and waiting for the 180 day mark! I got everything I wanted although I'm still wainting for a Wishes Dessert party reservation when they release them for May, fingers crossed!

Is the Wishes Desert Party the same as the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party?

We really want to do that! But, I'm not sure how far in advance the dates are released? I assumed 180 days?

Hey guys!

Looks like the problem with Be Our Guest has been resolved - as loads of dates are suddenly available.

We've booked BOG for the 27th of August at 6:40pm, but had to cancel Sci-Fi to do it :( (sad about having to cancel Sci-Fi! Massively happy at getting BOG!). I'm going to call and rearrange Sci-Fi at 12pm, but it means losing a different restaurant.

What are your opinions? I think our nieces would prefer Sci-Fi to 50's Prime Time Cafe, but I'm not sure!

Thats a tricky one. Sci-Fi is one of our must do's, great burgers and the Oreo milk shake is to die for, also check out the Picnic Burger,yummy:) but we also love 50s Prime Time too,you wont leave there thinking your still hungry.The theming is great fun and the servers will tell you to keep your elbows off the table, and all sorts of other entertaining things,"just like mom did!".
Sci Fi= Unique setting and old B Movies
50s= Being told off

:goodvibes

Hmmmm... it is tough! Thinking about it, our middle niece is incredibly shy, and I'm not too sure she'd take the 'elbows off the table' or 'eat your vegetables' in good spirits.... Perhaps Sci-Fi is our better option!

Plus.... you had me at Oreo milk shake!

Hope all is well at JL Clare!

I love both these places too. I know scifi doesn't have the best rep for food, but I still enjoy it. Plus I love the fact it's dark, cool, you can forget about any stresses of the day, don't need to chat, and just chill out and watch the big screen. I love those old horror classics.

For what it's worth I don't think it's too over the top at 50's prime time. Our server last time was pretty nice and gave us some quizzes to play. Tough choice!

It's only 24 days till I can do my adr's now. Well excited!!
