Just a question if anyone knows........I'm thinking about changing my resort and adding the dining plan to my current reservation (I've already made all my ADR's under my current reservation #). If I make these changes, I know they will need to change my reservation # and was just wondering if that would affect my ADR's. I worked hard on getting my ADR's and I don't want to have them cancelled if my reservation # changes. Anyone know?

I've changed my reservation 4 times and have had the same number all 4 times.

I just changed my reservation last week and was worried about the same thing. I learned that ADRs are linked to the phone number you enter, not your room reservation number. Everything I had booked prior to my change is still there. No problem at all!

Thanks for your response! I was curious also. We currently have a room reservation for Nov/Dec, but have since found out we are going with Make-a-Wish. I will be canceling my room since we will be staying at Give Kids the world, but we will still be there to use the ADRs.

I've changed our dates twice and changed our resort as well and we still have the same ressie number we started with.

That's true if you're going from a room-only to a room-only or a package to a package. Then it's just a modification of the existing reservation.

But if you're going from a room-only to a package, as the OP is doing to add the dining plan, that's considered a new booking and you will get a new reservation number.

But that has no effect on ADRs.

I was just about to post a similar question but I'll see if I can tag on to this thread for clarification - So if I make a 90+10 ADR while having a POP reservation since its linked to a phone number nothing happens if I cancel and change to SOG (not eligible for 90+10) - yes? I've got reservations at both just haven't decided which way to go yet.

Correct. Nothing should happen to your ADRs.

I cancelled a Disney resort last year and booked at the Swan for a better rate and all my ADR was not cancelled...ADR is attached to a phone number not reservation #.

We have our ADRS set and have the CRT at 8:05 on a sat. My son wants to stay at Nickelodeon because my daughter has all the princess stuff if I cancel the disney hotel package will that delete my dining it is alot to give up if so.
The likely possibility that we could get the same res are like hitting the lottery

Your ADRs should be all set. They're attached to your phone number, not your reservation once you're past the 90+10 mark.

When we arrived at POFQ in May we discovered our travel agent had accidentally cancelled our booking 10 days before :scared1: . My first thought (rather than worrying about where we were going to sleep:rotfl2:) was for my ADR's as I had given the booking number when making them! I went rushing to the concierge but they were all safe, so you will be fine!:thumbsup2
