Do you think I will need an ADR for The Plaza Restaurant over Easter week? I'm thinking a late lunch or early dinner. The time is so flexible which I why I don't want to tie us down with an ADR. Is it that popular of a restaurant that a walk up will be out of the question? We will be a party of 6. If we can't get it, counter service will be fine. I just thought that a table service meal would be a welcome respite for my kids and parents. (Oh, and it's not for THIS year....I am a little bit of a planner...it's for NEXT year!:lmao: )

Absolutely. We were there for free dining in September (as we have been the last three years), and they were turning people away. Being there Easter week, I would definitely get ADR's. This is the place we have our last lunch before we go to the airport to go home or before we head to Daytona Beach for a week.

I would say YES - you need to make an ADR - Easter week will be bonkers to say the least - and I doubt you'll be able to do a walk-up any day of the week..

Just my humble opinion :confused3

I would definitely recommend an ADR here. The place is pretty small, and being Easter week, most things will be booked up.

Absolutely make an ADR -- Last June we had one of the earliest reservations at 12:00, and didn't get seated until 12:45 as they were already running behind. (I think the first reservation is for 11:00ish.) There were 8 in our party (which included two babies) and the hostess kept telling us that people were taking their time with their meals. Also, anyone who came up to the hostess to ask about eating without ADRs were told there was nothing available all day. Keep in mind, that it is a small restaurant, but TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! :)

Probably. We waited almost 45 minutes past our ADR time in November and they were not taking walkups.

speaking solely from experience, we didn't need one. The first week of January in '07 we were able to simply walk up and were seated immediately. Mind you I'm not sure what time this was so it may have been an "off" time. However, there's absolutely no harm in making one, so I'd do it. BTW, it's worth it to go just for the icecream!!!

Yes! We had one for an early dinner in Oct. & they were telling people that just walked up that they had nothing for the rest of the evening

Yes yes yes! I've tried to walk-up on my last 3 trips & was turned away each time. The only time I've ever eaten there was in 12/06 - with an ADR! Loved it!
