ADR's and Reservation number

I just tried to make my dining reservations today from work for Easter and she would not make any ressies for me unless I had my room reservation number. Of course I did not bring that number with me. When did they start requiring a room ressie for ADR's? The gal on the phone I thought was rather rude and told me. Now I have to go home and find my reservation number.

I called today too and had the same problem...

The problem is its not 180 days til Easter til tomorrow Morning and only
resort guests can book 180 days before their arrival date (for their whole stay). However when I tried this 180 days thing on Saturday the CM wouldn't let me do it. and I had my reservation # with me.

I think it all depends on the CM on the phone.

I always thought they could look-up your reservation through your phone number. The last time I called which was 2 weeks ago the CM looked up our reservation through our phone number. I did nor have access to our confirmation number at that time.

It depends on when your resort reservation starts if you can make an ADR for Easter Sunday yet. Anyone can make an ADR for March 22nd or earlier and for Easter (3/23) tomorrow. So to make an ADR for 3/23 or later you will need your confirmation number and have a check in date prior to 3/23.

I feel your pain, we are at the Dolphin for the first few days of our Easter trip so I am making the ADR's 1 day at a time until our WDW resort reservation starts.

I must mention that the CM's have been very friendly and helpful and I get to think about our vacation for a bit every morning
