I have 6 months to go, but I'm starting to think about planning for our first offsite stay at WBC. We are going for an adults-only weekend for the W&D half marathon with another couple who aren't big Disney goers, so I'm at the helm for planning.

I'll be able to make ADRs and FP+ reservations, right? Just not as early as if we were staying on-site? Can someone talk me through your planning strategy for this stuff? Last year we did an Eat to the Beat dinner package and really enjoyed it, so I'd like to do that again if there is an act we want to see. Otherwise we'll maybe just book one or two other sit-downs.

Any thoughts are appreciated :)

I'm going next month and am in the process of booking my 30 day FP+ ... the one thing you need to keep in mind is that it is 30 days in advance of EACH day you'll be at WDW. So I booked my 5/3 MK day on 4/3... then my 5/4 EPCOT day on 4/4 and so on. So no plus 10 for guests staying offsite.

As for the dining, it was the same thing. 180 days in advance of each day. Though I had no issue getting the ADRs I wanted, with the exception of a BOG dinner (but I ate there last trip and was not upset). You also need to reserve the meals with a credit card and if you don't show up or call to cancel 24 hours in advance, it's a $10 no show fee per person.

Cool, that's exactly the info I was looking to find out. Thanks very much, Sweetnjmom!
