Hello,

I booked all our ADR's last night for our 8/30 trip (180 days) and we basically got all the ADRs we wanted (basically all Signature dining at night, on DxDP) within 5 minutes of the requested time.

The only one we couldn't get was a Tues night at Citrico's because starting in May (or so), Citrico's will no longer be open for dinner on Mon-Tues. But we had no problem getting the ADR for Narcoosee's instead.

I should mention it is just my wife and I traveling so it might be easier to get ADRs for 2 people.

Based on my reading here, I had been a bit worried about ADR availability and there being a "mad dash" at the 180 day mark. However, I was pleasantly surprised!

Thanks for letting us know about Citrico's... I was all set to book on a Tuesday...

I'll just swap with my Narcoosee's day :) Thanks!

I was making reservations for our party of 6 and the only problem I had on our 180 mark is moving Coral Reef from 5 to 5:20. I was pretty excited since I was sure it would be trickier with a large group.

I made my reservations early February for early June. (probably around the 100 day mark or less only because I forgot to do it) I did not have any issues with getting any ADR's for the 4 of us anywhere I asked for and the time.

My prediction is that with the economy so very bad right now that the attendance (even for the summer months) will be down at WDW. There are so many businesses here in OH that have closed in the last 12 months its been unbelievable. I think the last 'job loss' count here I heard was well over 4,000. That affects a LOT of families. My guess is that the travel industry as a whole is waaay down. I know we normally fly to Disney every time we go but this year, we decided to drive. It will costs us $300 or so RT for gas. One airline ticket is around $225 at best everytime I've checked. Yikes! (x 4 is about a thousand bucks).

I will be quite interested to see what WDW looks like when I get there this June.

It's typically much easier to get the ADR's you want when you are going at a time when there aren't a lot of kids :)

I agree, get 'em before the free dining is released.

Unless you want Le Cellier for dinner or something like that, shouldn't be so hard to get anything right now.

I want Jiko and Victoria & Alberts for that weekend (8/30 and 8/31) but I don't feel any need to call right now. V&A isn't on the dining plan so I can probably do that anytime.

question-- i did not book my trip yet-- i am waiting for free dining to come out-- or if it doesn't come out i will book beginning of April-- Can i still make my ADRS soon for my early sept trip without having my trip booked yet? Or do you have to be registered at a disney resort? Let me know what i should do thanks so much:)

I would assume you live within a days drive then? This was something we had to figure in (flying vs. driving) but we are from Texas so driving, food and lodging wasn't saving us any money, infact we were saving money to fly, not to mention vaca days.

407-824-2222 or 407-939-3463 for dining information and planning. This is a great ?, let us know what they say! ;)

I got all ours on the 180 day mark, including CRT and Narcoossee's, all at the times I wanted. It surprised me how easy it was...

Not sure what part of Ohio the OP is from, but I'm in Ohio also, and it's about a 15-hour drive for us. We drive straight through the night, so we don't have to stop.

Hey! Me too! I called about.. 109 days out, maybe more maybe less. I got everything I wanted for every time I wanted. Except Les Chefs de France, but we compromised the time for it. It was only about a half-hour off anyways. (We're going in June, too)

To the OP: Congrats on your ADR-booking, and thank you for the heads up with Citricos.

I made my ADR's yesterday for our Aug 30-Sept 6 trip. I was able to get everything I wanted at the times I wanted except for Crystal Palace. We were looking for a 5:30 time and we got 6:10. The others I booked with no problems: CRT, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon Cafe and Kona Cafe. :yay:

When I booked I was asked what resort we are staying at. I do not remember if I had to give my confirmation number or not, but the CM did tell me "she got it" when I told her my resort.

GL with your vacation.

You can still book your ADRs. The only difference is you can only call at 180 days from the day you're making the ADR for. You can't take advantage of the 180+10 option. Of course, you could wait to call at 180 from the date of your last ADR & book them all at the same time. Just tell them your resort is "undecided".

ETA: They'll ask for a phone number, since you don't have a reservation. It's no different than those staying offsite.

Congrats on your ADRs!!!! :goodvibes Our 180 day mark is this Saturday, and I am so excited to hear your report on how easy it was to get your original choices! Thanks so much for sharing - hope you have a great trip!

We live in Dayton Ohio...about 16 hrs straight, we do not stop to spend the night anywhere...takes away from Disney time! I even got LeCellier on the date I wanted for the 4 of us..that surprised me! This will be most interesting to see the crowd level this round.
