ADR's 180 days??????

Hi,
I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations confirming my September 2010 visit. I mentioned to the woman to give me my date when I can start my dining reservations and she gave me a 90 day window. I mentioned that I heard it was getting changed to 180 days and she said that it is a rumor right now and that nothing has been finalized. She said as of right now they do not have the authority to make reservations 180 days out. Has anyone else heard anything about this.

It is not a rumor, it is definitely happening. However, the start date for reservations 180 days out is not until October 27. Right now it's still only 90 days.

Disney Dining folks are somewhat notorious for not knowing what is going on. It is changing to 180 days in October 2009. We just booked a bounceback Free Dining trip for September 2010, and I actually just got my Disney Destinations newsletter email with the "thank you for booking another Disney vacation" and all the little bits of info for planning. One of the boxes has the info about the dining reservation change...I copied this from my email:
You've chosen a Disney Dining Plan
Beginning October 27, 2009, the dining reservations window will move from 90 to 180 days before your scheduled arrival. Be sure to plan ahead.
