We're closing in on the 180 day window for our ADRs in December, and we're trying to plan things out. I'd like to make one call for them all, but I'm now getting confused, and I'm surprised this isn't in the FAQ links...

Exactly when can I start making ADRs? Is it always 180 days from the day of the ADR? Or just 180 days from check-in?

I think I've heard mention of a 180+10 rule, but I'm not sure how that applies.

We plan on CRT this time - is that strictly 180 days from the day we want?

Last time I had to do the 6:55am phone dance, CRT was the only thing you needed to worry about...

It is my understanding that a Disney Resort guest may begin to first make their reservations 180 days prior to the date of their check in. They are than permitted to make ADRs for the first 10 days of their trip at the same time. Therefore, you can in theory book an ADR 190 out from the date of the reservation if you are indeed a Disney Resort guest, but only if the "extra" days are part of your stay...Hope this helps. :)

And CRT only releases a few tables early, so if you don't get what you want when you first call (180 days from your check-in), call back at exactly 180 days from the day you want CRT. And keep calling every few days until you get what you want. I got breakfast ressies last summer less than 90 days out.
