ADR's 1/25/02 to 2/22/09--How's it going?

For those of you making ADR's for 1/25/09 thur 2/22/09...how's it going? Are you finding the phone systems overwhelmed? Are you able to get the ADR's you want?

I waited for 7-10 minutes before a Dining CM picked up my line. I had to make a switch of dinner ADRs because the restaurant I chose for the day I chose had no availability but it turned out for the better. Other than that I think it turned out pretty good.

Got all ours (most for the exact time we wanted) - first time to WDW (2 adults & 2 girls):

I called yesterday morning at 7:00 a.m. to make our ADRs for our 1/26-1/31 trip. I only had to wait about 2 minutes for a CM to get on the line, and am very happy to report that I was able to get all of the reservations we wanted for our party of 5. A big thank you to Disney Dine for the tip. If I hadn't been reading these boards, I never would have known to call now.

And it sounds like people aren't having too much trouble getting ADRs. I wonder if people not on the disboards are still waiting for Oct 24???

Thanks in large part to DisneyDine, we had no troubles today whatsoever. Call was answered almost immediately. We had to scoot a few by 5 minutes, but other than that, we got everything we wanted and when we wanted.

They included Boma (x2), Teppan Edo (x2), Coral Reef (x2), Biergarten, Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, Ohana, Crystal Palace (x2), and SciFi.

Called today and got everything, some through the "regular" dining ADRs and some through group dining. I got EVERY reservation I wanted, and at the times I wanted. The group dining CM was great , she even spent the time to set up our ressies, with potential cancelations (some of our party of 16 may back out for finiancial reasons ) in mind. She set up the ressies with table sizes arranged so we can cancel one "table". This little extra is a major stress reducer knowing I can change our ressies without having to cancel them.

To DisneyDine for keeping so up to date and alerting us all to the changes, I shudder to think what would have happened if I had waited.....now all I have to do is think about what to pack, what rides to go on, pray Disney schedules P&P for 2/20 and surf the Disboards for more juicy tidbits.

I just got off the phone a few minutes ago. Absolutely no wait before a CM picked up and got all the ressies I wanted on the exact dates/times, including Le Cellier, Yachtman's Steakhouse, Artist's Point, and Wolfgang Puck Upstairs (already had Narcossees, and Victoria & Albert.

We got ours no problem at all! Got all the times we wanted too!

I called Sat around 5pm, no wait at all and got everything we wanted at the times we wanted except 1900 Park Fare dinner the earliest was 30 minutes later than wanted. We are a party of 7.

Also booked BBB appointment in the castle no problem.

Chalk up another for "we got everything we wanted." Called yesterday (sunday) around 11 am, got through to an CM after listening to about 1 minute of Cruella DeVille (sp?). The CM I had was very helpful. She was able to book us for everything within her power to book us for: dinner at Kona, dinner at RR, dinner at Nine Dragons, dinner at Rose & Crown and one or two others that may be escaping me right now. We needed to wait to book these meals due to the cutoff...this will be the 2nd half of our Disneymoon, and we were kinda worried about not getting what we wanted for the 2nd half of the trip. The CM wasn't able to get us into the brewery on the Boardwalk, but then again, CM's don't take the ADR's for that. She was able to get us the # to make that ADR tho, so that was quite helpful. All in all, a good experience yet again. DF seems to think that I have some sort of Midas Touch when it comes to making ADR calls...I can usually do no wrong. Guess I'm just fortunate that way.

I got mine this morning, no wait and very friendly CM. We just changed our trip plans from march to Jan 09 and was afraid I would not be able to get CRT for lunch and Fantasmic dinner but got both...now we just have to sit down tonight and make plans for dining for rest of trip.

I got everything as well. I couldnt be happier... just the wait is killing me now LOL!!
Got CRT for 8:05am... I was never so happy to pay for something.

Congrats on your ADRs, they all sound good!
My experience with Group Dining was a little different this year from 2007. They could not make SOME of the direct reservation for our party of 23. I had to call Whispering canyon directly and left messages and never got a call back after 24 hrs. When I finally connected with them they would take our ADR but told us we could only order the Skillet meal.
I also had to call LeCellier direct and didn't get a call back after 24 hrs, so called again, but on a happier note got the ADR for 23 without menu stipulations.
Also got an ADR direct thru Group Dining for 'Ohana for 23.
Whew, that's over, but now I have to wait until Nov 21st (maybe, we'll see) for the rest of our ADRs in February.

I just read on another thread that someone made ADRs through Feb. 24? I thought it was through Feb. 22. Anyone know?
