Thanks. :jumping1: :thewave:

I would definately make an ADR....especially if you are wanting Le Cellier.....it books fast!

I agree that you should make ADRs for any restaurant where you know you'll want to eat. This is especially true for restaurants that are very popular like Le Cellier in Canada.

Happy planning! :)

Hey I am going to be there the same time as you!! I would definitely make ADR's at least for the popular restaurants. I don't believe Disney saves room for walk ups on their popular restaurants, so I would try making them asap. Where are you guys staying and do you have the dining plan?

If you have the Dining Plan, make sure you make ADR's ASAP for where you would like to eat ASAP. Sit down restaurants have become very busy with the Dining plan. When we were there in October, they were turning walk-ups away everywhere.
If you need to review restaurant menus to help with your decision they can be found at allearsnet.com.
Enjoy your trip.

Epcot is a tough ADR to get around Xmas, especially w/the CP packages...they were tough to get when they were 1st offered several months ago.

You might have better luck w/a late lunch @ LeCellier - I think you get a bigger bank for your buck that way.

As for your Granddaughter, have you looked into the Princess character meal @ Epcot?

Good Luck, enjoy the magic.

The last time I went without making ADRs [PSs at the time] was in December 1991 [or 1992] and lerned my lesson well. I have never gone again without at least 1 ADR per day.

Us too. If we decide to try for another restaurant and can get ADR the day before or day of, we can always cancel the ones we made way in advance.

I was just in WDW this past week for thanksgiving and made a last minute DR for Epcot, 3/4 of the restaraunts in WS were booked. So if possible, make them all in advance. We ended up at Chefs de la France and it was a pretty good alt. Service was great and the soup and steak was fantastic.

Disney now allows booking ADR's at 180 days before arrival. It had been 90 days in advance until about a month or so ago. I don't think the majority of folks know about the change yet. But when it was 90 days, many folks called at exactly 7AM EST on that morning to book the most popular restaurants for their trip. Princess Breakfast at the Castle almost always sold out within a few hours at the 90 day mark.
Other popular restaurants - Le Cellier in Canada and Chef Mickey's at the CR come to mind - also fill quickly. For our October trip I called at 90 days and although I got every restaurant I wanted for the week, I did have to adjust some of the times I wanted because they were already not available.
The best advice is to book just as soon as you know where you want to eat, keeping in mind the 180 day window and the availablity of popular restaurants and all of the character meals which fill quickly.
Many folks also post about the fact that cancellations do occur and that they have had luck at getting last minute ADR's. It does depend on the business of the season you are going.
My best advice is if there is somewhere you have your heart set on eating at, book just as soon as you can.
Hope this helps.
