Sorry if this has been asked before, but what is the ADR window when in the parks? What if we're running late? How long before we are considered a no show?

We're heading to WDW with a toddler that does not always move as quickly as Mom and Dad would like!

Thanks

I wouldn't be more than fifteen minutes late. In fact why don't you try to be fifteen minutes early. That way if you get hung up you will be right on time.

It's at the discretion of the CM at check in, but Disney advises to be, what?... 10 minutes early I think? so I would think the minute after your reservation the CM could officially mark you as a no show if he/she wanted to.

There is no set grace period as to when you are considered a "no show". It will vary by restaurant, by CM, etc. In general, most folks say that they've been given between 5 and 15 minutes grace period, but I would not count on it, especially at popular/busy locations. As others have mentioned, Disney recommend arriving 15 minutes before you ADR time so you have the best chance of being seated at or near your ADR time.

As others have said, there is no official policy so it is up to each restaurant, CMs, and circumstances at the time you arrive. Most times you can be up to 15 minutes late, but there's no guarantee. We've seen times when someone showed up very late and it was okay and on another occasion when anyone showing up just after their res time was turned away because the restaurant was running far behind schedule, but trying to catch up. Also, if you are late and turned away you will be charged the $10 per person no show penalty so if you know your toddler takes a long time you should build that into your planning.

This. How late you "can" be depends on many things. Sometimes you can't be late at all and be seated. The best thing to plan is to be early.
