Question-

Traveling with others- if we make an ADR for 5 people but only 4 of us go, what happens?

What if we miss an ADR all together?

Thanks for your help!

My last WDW visit was before the dining packages started- made eating OOP a lot easier!!

It won't be a problem. On my last trip, there were supposed to be four of us going. Then when we got closer to the trip, one person couldn't go. We had not problem using the same ADR's with one less person.

If you miss an ADR altogether, nothing will happen, unless it's one of the ADR's that require a credit card to hold it. If you don't show for one of those kinds, you will be charged.

If you can't make a regular ADR that you scheduled, it's nice if you call in and cancel as soon as you know you won't make it.

that should not be a problem at all, just like in any other restaurant outside WDW. If you have a chance, you can give them a courtesy call and let them know before hand - that would be nice.

If they took a credit card to hold your reservation, you will be charged a no show fee for each person who isn't there. Otherwise you have no worries. However, if you know the whole group won't make an ADR, try and call and cancel. That would open the table up for someone else to use.
