Hi:goodvibes

My 180 day mark to book whispering canyon cafe was yesterday (want to book 27/9/11) when I go to book it a message comes up that my reservation date does not qualify me for advance dinner reservation - please try another date?????? eek?

I thought anyone could book 180 days in advance? We are staying offsite - any ideas?:worship:

When you log in have a look at the left hand half of the page. There is a little blue link at the bottom saying something along the lines of "Use my dining plan to make reservations"

Even if you are not on the DDP or using the QSDP, click this. It will then ask for your details as well as your reservation number for your hotel booking (12 digit or an alphanumerical one). Enter this and it will open up the 10 day window for you.

I just tried for the 27th and it gave me a whole selection of available times including the one I randomly asked for. Just a quick check for you, when you enter your reservation number to associate your ADRs with your resort booking to open the 10 day window, have you made sure that you select your resort check in date below before hitting Confirm? I don't mean to sound insulting but I have made that mistake more times than I can count in the last few days.

There is no res number Lee, offsite holiday.
You have the 180 date wrong, just checked 27th Sept on the ADR Calc, it shows todays date so you can't make a res until 11am (12 Noon by phone)
I could make reservations for 26th but not 27th, that made me check the date. http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php

I made my resort booking through H*****.com (Not sure if I could put the name). The only reference number I have is theirs, will the ADR website recognise this,if not how do I get an official reference number ?

No problems with hotels.com as far as I know, DIS will automatically filter sites not allowed.
I don't think I have come across anyone using them for a Disney reservation. You could try send Disney a message via "contact us" http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/contact/
Put in as much info as you can so they can try locate your reservation. Thats how I got mine for this year.

I'm sorted.I'm registered with Disney. All I had to enter was my e mail address & password and I made my ADR's no problem, didn't even need a resort booking reference number.

Anyone can make ADR's even without a Disney account, through the reservation process the website will ask if you want to link to your hotel reservation or log into your Disney account or totally skip and just book.

Many people prefer to link to their hotel res then they can book at 180 days out and make the 1st 10 days reservations before offsite guests get the oppertunity, also if you have free DDP you don't have to pay upfront for some meals if linked you do the way you have booked.

If you are just making basic reservations they don't need linking to your hotel.:thumbsup2
