Doooh, just ignore me... I said it would be less confusing in two days. :)

Ah...I understand what you are saying...

That is an interesting question actually. I'm guessing yes, the +10 applies - but these are the most likely to NOT have many tables released, if any, until the 90 days anyways.

You know.....it used to be that you had to wait until you were only 60 days out...people complained but lived with it. Then, it got changed to 90 days, then it went to 180 days. We listened to those who complained that 'who knew where the heck they wanted to eat in 6 months??' and did they really, truly have to make ADRs that far in advance. Now, Disney has gone back to the 90 day window....and everyone is panicking. I think that it will be chaotic for just a bit longer...everything will shake out and it will be fine. Disney holds some tables at every restaurant for each day. It's not as if you call for CRT breakfast today, at 7:15, you will find that every single table is gone for your entire trip. You may have to rearrange your dining plans but you will most likely be able to get something at some point in your trip. They only book x number of tables each day. Of course, there are always going to be those who are going to miss out...just the luck of the draw. But, that happened wiht the 180 day window as well.

I think we all tend to get all wrapped up in the anxiety here. We all rush to make all those ADRs, panicking if we don't get exactly what we want. Well...not everyone is going to get what they want. Some people are going to have to be flexible. Yes, you may be disappointed that you can't get an ADR for LeCellier on that particular day, but heck, maybe you'll actually enjoy the place you can get the ADR for almost as much. If it's truly important that you eat at a specific place, on a specific day/night, then keep calling. Call every day to see if anything has opened up. Call when you get to WDW. Stop at Guest Services first thing in the morning and see if there are any openings. Head right to that particular restaurant as soon as they open...they may be able to find you a spot.
Just stop stressing...this is vacation..it should be fun to plan, not give you high blood pressure!!!

Ditto!

I'm not stressing about my ADRs too much but I do want to make sure I get the most bang for my buck with the dining plan. I am definitely flexible when it comes to what time and what day we eat at certain restaurants. I have found that helps out a lot when the castmembers are trying to find an open spot for you.

Actually, its supposed to be 99 days, since the first day is included in your 10 days. So its really 90+9, but everyone calls it 90+10.

But you are correct, if your trip is 10 total days (the 10th day is 99 days out), you can book all of your ADRs in that one call except possibly the more popular ones, which may still need to wait for the actual 90 days from the date in question.

doconeill,
You are a wealth of knowledge regarding all things ADRs. Let me see if this is right: My on-site check-in date is 90 days from today and the stay is for three nights. After that I'm off-site. So, today I can call get ADRs for my first day plus nine days after that? And if I call back tomorrow my window will or will not move to include the tenth day from my check-in date?

Thanks for sharing what you know. If you don't know, then I'll just have to try it and see!!

Hmm...unfortunately I don't know everything... :) I'm actually not sure on this one - at least with the new system, they can actually call up your full reservation and see what days you will be there. I think you can only make ADRs past 90 days for days actually spent at a Disney resort.

I'm having a hard time with the change myself. I know a lot of people complained about the 180 day ADR's, but I liked it. The 90 days just prolongs my Disney planning agony. I like to have everything nailed down way in advance.

I agree...we are a party of 7 next trip so I worry about getting a big table. :confused3

You can only make ADRs for the 90+10 for the days you stay at a resort. For the days you are off property, you will have to call 90 days from the day you want the ADR. At least that is the way it is suppose to work.:confused3

Best I have read on this thread in awhile, nicely put:thumbsup2

I always thought the 180 days was a bit much and find the 90 days a bit more reasonable. I called at my 90 day and had no problems and I think most haven't had too many problems either, just be flexible.

That is correct!! The new system will not let you book the day after you check out until 90 days in advance.

Thanks for the clarification - I've updated the calculator wording as well.

We are staying offsite this coming June and so far I have been able to get my ADR's for 7 people with the exception of the Sci Fi Restaurant. Disney's got my name in their computer and I don't know if it helped because when my sis tried to book our trip, she didnt have any luck with the ADR 's, but when I called 5 minutes after and gave them my name I was able to book the ressies.

I wonder if the online dine system will drop in the next 10 days???

JUST SAYING!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I'm really hoping to get my ADR's...i can't call till thursday 3/26
hoping to get
6/24- sci-fi
6/25- rose and crown
6/26- ohana
6/27- le celliar
6/28- mama melrose fantamic dining
6/29- yak and yeti
6/30- coral reef
i could switch coral reef and le celliar if that would help with getting a reservation b/c it is later in the week.
will see what happens on thursday

Not yet, because it is 92 days from June 19th. In two more days the exceptions will be no more.

You know, the more I thought about it, the more I reckon I was right to start with... if someone's on-site stay started, for example, on 17th June (which was exactly 90 days away when we wrote the above) then they should by then have been able to book CRT/etc for 17th June, but also 9 more days after that, which would have extended beyond the original 19th June booking limit.

Anyway, it's a moot point from today of course. :)

The next milestone will be the fabled online bookings. My money is on nothing starting any time before 26th May, but we'll see.

Andre

I got BOMA today with no problem at all. Tomorrow is my 90 day mark.Cannot wait to see what it will bring!:wizard:

I know this is probably the dumbest question ever, but....are CRT & other signature restaurants (like HDDR) 90+10 also? We are planning a surprise b-day trip for my DD & really wanted CRT for b/fast on her b-day. I am SO scared we won't get it! I miss the 180 window. TIA!

I'm not aware of any dining at WDW that is done prior to 90 days now. The PS Calculator seems to list Mickey's Backyard BBQ as being 365 days, but the WDW web site only lists it at 90.

I don't know if ALL signature places are available at 90+10, but in a lot of the cases only a few tables might be made available prior to the actual 90 day point, so your best bet is to call at 90 days from checkin, and if you don't get what you want, call again at 90 days from the ADR date.
