booking at the 90 day window.

definately problems with Chefs. fantasmic dinner packages also see WAY limited...

frustrating. frustrating. frustrating.

just to call and make 1 reservation is at least 7-10 minutes.

I hope they work the kinks out soon.pirate:

One thing you should watch out for: I also made Keys to the Kingdom tour reservations with my Disney Visa and after hanging up, realized that my discount was not applied. Called back Monday and the CM could not get the system to acknowledge the Visa discount. He said to call back in a few days. The problem would be brought to the attention of his "supervisor" and they would try to remedy the situation. Just be aware if you are using a Disney VISA to pay for something, your discount may not come off when you make the reservation.

I had the same thing happen to me for the KTTK tour. The CM that actually booked it said no discounts were available. Well I knew that wasn't true so I called back a couple of days ago and was told that all the discounts weren't loaded into the system. This time the CM put me on hold to get with a supervisor. This is apparently somewhat random though, because according to a poster on another thread, they were able to get the discount.

I was told by the CM to call back a week or so before our trip (late May) and try again to get the discount applied. :confused3

Know what you mean. I don't like the 90 days either. I have found it harder to get the more popular ressies. Good luck and hang in there you'll get through the first 90 days and before you know it will be time to call!

I don't like this at all just make the entire process more stressfull for us advaced trip planners who have everything planned out. I booked w 40% off pin for our stay in Sept. which is a better savings at a deluxe resort for my family even if/when FD is announced, just wantinig more than value this trip . Now I will be making ADRs 90 June 6th with all folks on FD when annnounced oh man I'm gona be screwed only thing I have going for me is 90 +10 cuz we are staying 11 nights. Why do this and make process stressfull I do not get it. Was so easy last year, I booked my FD last year 1st day it came out April 12 I think or close to that, and made all my ADRs same time worries over and got everything I needed. My girlfriend booked her FD last year a couple weeks after me in May for the same exact dates we went and she could NOT already get some of the ADRs we got CrT LeCelleir Chef Mickeys uggg. Now I'm not so sure:confused3 why oh why???

I'm having a hard time with the change myself. I know a lot of people complained about the 180 day ADR's, but I liked it. The 90 days just prolongs my Disney planning agony. I like to have everything nailed down way in advance.

Our trip will be take place a few days before the new system is ushered in completely. Should I be worried?

I would think that as large as Disney is, in various forms, that a basic website would always be up to par...even when no system changes are occurring. Because this does not even happen, I would be leary as to how this system change would work, especially until all of the kinks are out. I am thouroughly disappointed from a technological standpoint on how their site runs. I feel that if they do not have a basic site up to par, that a dining reservation system surely will not be up to par as well, especially in the beginning, but looking at their site makes me think this will never be up to Disney standards either, unfortunately. And, when you email and ask WHY there are problems, a reply hasn't even been occuring the last few weeks. WHen you ask what the problem is on the phone you are told, oh, system upgrade glitches........ok......for 3 years?????????

Is it 90 days from check IN day or check OUT day? (When staying onsite...)

Thanks!

Hi Guys! OK, I am already dreading trying to make ADRs at the 90 day mark........what time does reservations open is it 7.00am or 9.00am? Anyone report how much easier it is to get through later in the day and whether they still got what they wanted?
We are looking for V+A, the Wave, Yak and Yeti, Boma, Saana, Jiko, Flying Fish and Kona.....................what are my chances?!!!

7:00am Eastern Time, which is currently 4 hours behind GMT (and I think at the moment British standard time).

It is 90 days from check IN date. If you are staying at a Disney owned resort you can, on that day, make ADR's for up to 10 days. Hence the 90 + 10 rule.
Good Luck

i called at 7 sharp .it took 55 min. but i got everything at the times i wanted.if you have alot of adrs to make .i would make them put them in a few at a time after we got done she tryed to give me my con.# and all got lost so we had to start over. but it is ok im done

Wow as my ADR day get closer I am getting very nervous! :scared: I liked the 180 days out because that gave people like me who plan way ahead to go ahead and make my ADRs and be done, then maybe change a few as times of the parks were released, but usually not. But I understand at 90 days this gives everyone a more even playing ground for those who only plan trips 3 months in advance. Then they announce the 90+10 and I was like hey finally something for those staying on-site yea, but now that I am approaching my window and see people getting adrs that I want, because of the +10, I am like . I know they only release a few tables at a time but I really want our traditional CM on our arrival day, it is a tradition.

What date are you arriving? I am hoping you are arriving after June 19, because Chef Mickey has been available through June 19 since December, which would make it almost impossible to get right now.

I think that so long as you are looking for June 20 or later for Chef Mickey's, you'll be fine. :goodvibes

Yes we will be arriving June 21. Thanks for giving me hope,:cloud9: maybe the people who aren't getting CM right now are those before June 19, I didn't think of it that way. Making them Monday morning at 6:00 are time so we'll see.

I'm calling on Sat and Sun for June 19 and 20, and then since we are moving to BWV (from off site) I can make the rest of our ADR's on Tuesday. I'm starting to freak out too, because I read in another thread that people are having trouble getting Sci-Fi. That's the only TS my son asked for. I hope the lack of available ADR's for Sci-Fi is not indicative of all TS's I try to get!

Issues with getting an ADR at SFDI have mainly been due to Star Wars Weekends. They end the weekend before you are hoping for, so there should be less of an issue.

[My utterings of complete rubbish deleted!] :)

Two more days and we can forget all the confusion with these three locations anyway!

Andre

I assume that the +10 option for CM, CRT and CG has already kicked in by the way? So guests arriving 90 days from today are able to book for their extra 10 days too - which would take the bookings beyond 19th June? Two more days and we can forget all the confusion with these three locations anyway.

Andre

Not yet, because it is 92 days from June 19th. In two more days the exceptions will be no more.
