Nobody knows for sure right now. This thread will be updated both in title and the first post will reflect when we know something.

As far as we know right now it sounds like it'll be towards the end of December. However, if the update gets pushed back to January, then I'd suspect that they'd open until 4/22 at the end of November. That however is purely speculation.

Ok, this is news to me... I've received no other information other than what I reported. October 26th window to open to allow ADR's through March 22nd and new system going live in late December.

Thank you SO much for keeping us updated. Seeing that the date moved up from the Nov 21 date made me sit down and do our plans yesterday for our March 2009 trip. I'd been procrastinating, thinking I had a few more weeks to go!

I just got an e-mail from my TA--THEY ARE TAKING RESERVATIONS NOW!! Thans! DU- way to go Tracy!

I just called to see if they are booking and spoke with Joyce. She confirms that you can only book through February 22nd today. On Sunday they will be able to book through March 22 due to a "Major system upgrade"

This is so confusing. We are making a number of ADR's for our trip beginning on May 2. Here comes the crazy part. I understand that for our Chef Mickey and Cinderella's Breakfast we can call at 6 months out. Is that 6 months from the exact day of the dinner reservation or can I still use the 10 day advantage, since we are checking in on the 2nd? This would allow me to make one call and make both reservations 180 days out from May 2nd. Also, can we still make reservations for the Poly Luau and Mickey's Backyard BBQ 180 days out? Final question, when will we be able to make the rest of our ADR's? Boy, I hope that all makes sense.

I just got an email response from concierge that they wouldn't be able to book my March ADRS or Disney tours for me until November. I called them to ask why they couldn't book them on Sunday if I can book them then? The CM was shocked and wanted to know "how do you know that?" When I told her the Disney tour office confirmed it for me already (they did) and that I read it here first, she chuckled and said to someone in the background "the guests know already about the new booking date." All I cared was that she confirmed they'd be able to make the reservations for me. Otherwise I'd get up Sunday morning to do them myself.

Hold the presses, removing my prior post. Everything is very confused over at the reservation center.

Tracy and I are in communication and will update as soon as we definitely know if you can or cannot reserve restaurants today.

They are officially taking ADRs for March. I just got off of the phone and the CM said they had just opened the dates. I made reservations for 3/7-3/14.

This is what I know. I've been emailing quite a bit with Tracy from DU.

The dates are in the reservation system and technically most CM's could make reservations for 2/23 - 3/22 right now. However they have instructions on their computer system that tell them to NOT make reservations past 2/23 until 10/26.

Some CM's are either not seeing this instruction or are choosing to ignore it.

Most CM's are following the rules and not making the reservations at this time.

You can always call and try, but please don't take it out on the CM if they are doing their job properly and aren't letting you make your reservations. They're the ones who are in the right right now.

I also just made mine!!! No pressure from me. I just asked her "Can I make a reservation for March 22?" She told me not until Sunday but she would see if the computer would let her and she said "Oh it's letting me! What restaurant would you like?"

I have Tusker House on 3/22 at 8 am and 1900 PF at 6 pm!

She also told me she would check the rest of the week because some restaurants are being able to be booked past 3/22. I checked for the BBB, Pirate Cruise, Ohana's, CP and PSB and the computer told her no. So I don't know how correct that info was or if she was referring to CRT and CM and got them confused.

I just called and made reservations for a couple of the restaurant we want to eat at in March. The representative said that they had only opened a selected number of restaurant. We were able to get Cape May Cafe (March 16) and Le Cellier (March 20). Just wanted to let all you know what I know.
