I called today just to see and with NO WAIT they let me book ALL my reservations!!! My day was Feb 4th to call in and they took them a day early. I guess I got a little Disney Magic!!!
I booked Crystal Palace and Narcooses for May 6th, Tusker House May 7th, Le Cellier- May 8th, Ohana dinner on May 10th and Ohana Breakfast on May 12. I am pretty Happy!!!!

Yeah for Sept some CMs were wacky and just booked whatever they could no matter if I was actually "allowed" to do so. If the place was open to be booked, they booked it.

I don't really feel bad even a little. It's not hurting anyone and there was equal oppurtunity to get that CM. Karma sucks that I'll probably get line-cutted but if I get my 8:05 ADR for CRT.... I don't care.

We got all of our reservations for May 10,11,12,14. The only thing they couldn't make was Spoodles on the 13th. Told me to call back on my 90 day out for that. I don't think our 90 day was until Feb. 8 for May 9th. Nice CM:cool1:

You were able to book your ADR's for your Sept 09 tirp? Already? We'll be there the 22nd-24th - Maybe I ought to give it a shot!

well I wasn't as lucky. we are going for a weekend trip and only do epcot on may 8th (our only park that trip) and wanted le cellier and it's all booked. :(

Patty that stinks. I think it is getting booked up quick because some people are calling before their 90 days and CMs are booking for them. I'm sorry you couldn't get it.

Yachtsman Steakhouse is a nice place to eat I hear if you are looking for another good steakhouse. We are trying it this May. I was able to get in there with no problems so try there if you want.

I knew Le Cellier was booking up fast because when I called yesterday they were booked up on the 5th and a couple other days. We got in on the 9th.

I'm sorry you couldn't get LeC, Patricia. That was the one I was most worried about calling at 90 days - since CRT and CM were done back in Nov. Luckily, we wanted it for the last night of our trip, May 7, so only folks going in late April and staying 8-10 days could book before us. I luckily got it. I'm not sure if I wanted it for first night, I would've been as lucky.

Guess that's a tip for this new 90 day booking, if you REALLY want a popular restaurant, and are staying onsite, try and schedule it for the end of the trip or as close to the end as possible. That way there's less than of the "+10'ers" calling for that day in the days ahead of you.

Now for people getting Sept ADR's - what the heck? How is that happening?

Hi all

Can you just clarify something for me please?!

I called last Saturday on my 90 day mark and made my 10 days worth of ADR's, taking me to 12th May.

Now last year after doing the same thing I called each day after that to make the next meal of the trip (so I was still using the 90+10 rule as the meal was then 100 days from that date each day) so I had my two weeks worth of meals booked after the 4th day.

This year I didn't want to call each day so have waited 5 days to make sure all of my meals are within the 100 day (90+10) limit.

Just called to book and was told I can only book +10 days from my check in date, and the rest of the ADR's I can't make until it is 90 days from the actual meal, which means I can't book my last four dinners until next week. Which would be fair enough if a) I hadn't done it differently last year and b)if she hadnt told me in the next breath to call back tomorrow to make the ADR I want (which without the +10 ruleI shouldn't be able to make until Feb 11th!).

I am so confused! Who is right please?! :confused3 I can't face ringing from the UK again if I am going to be told I am wrong again!!

Sorry this is probably explained really badly!

Ok, so I know I can't book my ressie's for August now, but can I book Chef Mickeys? I think that's still 180 days out, right?

As far as I recall from years past, it's up to 10 days after check in, you'll have to wait to the 90 day mark for anything after that.

Chef Mickey's is now 90 days out as well. Also CRT and Victoria and Albert's

There's an explanation as to why in the first post, but Chef Mickey's, Victoria & Albert's and CRT are all only available through June 19.

Thanks!:thumbsup2

Doesn't that effectively mean then that we lose our +10 days perk for the remainind days of the vacation? :confused3

Sorry to quote myself . . . in case anyone else is in the same situation I just called back and got all the ADR's made . . . she didn't even take our hotel reservation number!! I wish they were all trained the same!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

I am new to the boards - so excuse me if you have all been discussing this already. - Called ADRs a few weeks ago to get clarity on the policy - we are going on May 16 and knew my 90 days were Feb 15. The Cast Member told me because of the '+10' and I was staying at a Disney resort I could call & make all my reservations on Feb 5. Called today and the Cast Member apologized profusely and said that was wrong - I need to call back on Feb 15 and then I could book for May 16 + 10 days to follow. I was tempted to call another Cast Member to see if they would do it. Has anyone been able to get around this rule?? Are the Cast Members not all working on the same set of rules???

They are meant to all follow the same set of rules, but there does seem to be a lot of confusion and a lack of clarity. I suspect it's case of making the rules so complicated, and then altering them too, so that even the staff aren't sure of them sometimes.

The second CM was correct, you can call 90 days before your arrival date, and you can then book your ADRs for that day and the following 10 days. At least I think it's arrival-day + 10, rather than arrival-day + 9 which (would make 10 days in total).

That's what I was told too. :guilty:

Yep - doesn't really make sense, does it? :confused3

Glad you got them all sorted out but wish I'd been so lucky. :rotfl:

well I wasn't as lucky. we are going for a weekend trip and only do epcot on may 8th (our only park that trip) and wanted le cellier and it's all booked. :(

We will be there the week of May 3-8....I tried LeC for all nights and EVERYTHING was booked. I've tried the last 2 trips to get into that place and still haven't eaten there!!! :sad2:

For those of you that are having trouble with LeCellier ADRs at dinnertime tried for a lunch ADR? We always book around 1:30 to 2 and been very successful. I would keep calling, maybe something will open up for you. I know I am going in April and I have changed several of my plans, several times ;), so considering how often the May hours and days keep changing, maybe things will open up for ya'll too. Good luck!!:)

Okay so I was worried when I read the boards and thought Chef Mickey would be all booked up for May 16th week because it was still 180 days out till June 19th- so called today and asked if I could book and was told no it was already changed to the 90 day rule. I did ask them to check on the availability for my week and he said there were still openings- just not sure why I couldn't book a ressie? Anyone know if I should call back to get another CM that may give me a different answer?
