ADR system down?

Is the ADR system down right now? 10/5/2012, 3:57 p.m. Central Time. Maybe it's my computer.
 
It looks like the online booking system is down once again since yesterday (Monday). Are these downtimes weekly? They seem to occur frequently.
 
They are upgrading the whole reservation system this time - I received an email about that 2 days ago. Seems like a major upgrade since there was a notification about it and everything is down. It supposed to be down until this evening.
 

I am not sure if the phone reservation system is down as well. You probably need to call and check with CM.
 
You cannot make reservations by phone right now either. When I called earlier I got a message that Disney is updating their systems and their agents can not search for or look up any dining reservations right now and to call back later this afternoon to do so.
 
So glad I saw this post... all of my ADRs are "missing" from the site and there is a link saying "Make Dining Reservations Don't miss out, make advance dining reservations online." I started to freak out, but then realized someone probably posted something here! Glad it's just a system outage since we leave in 11 days!
 
You can't even make any in person. The concierge desk told me this morning that it would be back up at noon. Obviously it isn't.
 
This is so frustrating! I've been looking forward to this day for a while now to make my first ADR... I called bright and early this morning and they stated it should be up and running around 2pm...it's that time and still nothing. Hope they get it together soon :/
 
I hope it comes back up soon!!! I just want to see if I can snag any kind of late breakfast ressie for a day trip on Friday!
 
The pent up demand will probably crash the system once it comes back online. This must be some "enhancement" for it to take almost 18 hours and counting. ;)
 
Still not up. Can you imagine if the restaurants at the parks cannot view the ADRs for this evening? Would make for a very chaotic night. Yikes!
 
I made the assumption that it would be back up tomorrow morning... figuring they would have some issues with volume coming back up unless they did it at an off hour..

I don't care about any enhancements. I have a cc hold reservation that I need to cancel. We changed some of our plans for this week

The only "enhancement" that I could see being worth it at this rate is if they dumped whatever they had and implemented anything else. It never ceases to amaze me that a company with the funds that Disney has and the talent it can attract, has such a crappy set of IT systems for reservations.
 
Well, the website still isn't up, but the phone system is now working. Baby steps...
 
This is kind of annoying, I wish they'd get the website working again, I can't believe it's been down all day! I just want to check on some ADR's, and I don't want to call, it's not that important, but still...hurry up! :rotfl2:
