I haven't been around in about a month. The last time I was searching for info on the dining board there was some info floating around about a new ADR system causing problems with booking 180 days out for certain folks. Is this still the case, or will I have no problems now with booking for our Feb 10-16, 2009 trip? :confused3 . . . Technically, I should have been able to book the 180 restaurants beginning on 8/14/08.

Anyone have any idea or hear anything new about when they will be taking ADR's past february 22? Our trip starts march 8.

I just made my ADRs for Feb. 15-21 yesterday. We got everything we wanted!!!!

Lecellier, Chef Mickey, 1900 PF, Ohana, Crystal Palace (before open) breakfast, and Si-fi Dine. ( I may change this one)

I originally called to get a Chef Mickey ADR, thinking that this was all I could do at this point because of the temporary 90 day restriction. When the CM asked me if I would like more ADRs I was shocked. So I continued to give them to her. At the end I asked her about the 90day rule and she seemed not to know anything about it.:confused3

So....all you Feb. travelers.....get ready....set...call...
Good luck!!!

I called a couple of days ago the CM told me to check back in a couple of weeks they were expecting them to open up a few more weeks. She did not say how far into March but it should at least cover our dates.

Just a helpful hint for those watching for anything past February 22. There are two awesome CM's who take time to post here to let us know what's happening next for ADR's.

Their screen names are IMACM and DisneyDine.

Their information has been 100% accurate in the past, and they usually let us know a day or two in advance of any changes that they know of.

This is starting to get to be so confusing. It was a no brainer in the past. For our upcoming trip we will be there March 27 to April 4. Leaving on the 4th.

My question: so when I call to make my ADRs for March 27th to the 31st do I have to wait a few weeks before I can make the ADRs for April 1 through the 3rd since the chances of April hours not being out yet? :confused3

2nd question: can I still make my March ADRs this month as first planned? The 180 days out date is approaching in the near future.

Right now anybody going up through February 22 can make their reservations.

Any reservations after February 22 can be made on November 21st.

There is a small possibility, according to the word of one CM that one Dis'er talked to that they may open a few weeks after February 22 in the near future.

At this time, count on making your ADR's on November 21 (with the rest of the world) and keep an eye here to see if your dates are available sooner.

I have been away from the boards for several months, only to find this gem of a thread yesterday when it posted.

DH surprised me Thursday night to tell me to try to book a trip for his conference in Feb. I told him I would do my best but to not hope for our fav restaurants. I tried for the same restaurants for last year's conference and it was very difficult to snag anything we wanted.

Lo and behold, the dates are 2/19-2/22 so I called this a.m. and got all 3 restaurants we wanted. I know this window thing is tedious for most advance planners but, in our case, it worked like a charm and I would not have known if it had not been for all of you guys on this thread. :flower3:

The gal helping me this morning said things have been really slow with this upgrade and if you watch your dates and call soon, most of her clients are getting their 1st picks of restaurants & times!!! I almost fell over to find out CG was open for any times on the Thurs, Fri & Sat of our trip!!!!

If you are waiting for dates, I hope all of your wishes come true!!! :wizard:

Thanks everyone for keeping us updated on what's happening. I've been away from the boards for a few days getting things ready for our son's wedding which was this past saturday. I will be watching for any and all news now. Thanks again! :)

I was told you can book up till the end of Feburary.

We're not leaving until 2 April but my parents will be there from 27th march.

I want to book Chef Mickeys as I know that's one of the exceptions to the 90 day rule, but does anyone know if they are still honouring the 180 day + 10 rule as I want the ressie for 3 April?

Thanks

x

Thank you all for clearing this up for me! I just booked for 4/9-4/18 and I was sooooo confused when I read about the new ADR system. I'll be keeping my eyes open on this board popcorn:: ...It will kill me if I can't book at the 180 day mark...I'm a control freak  !
