so how important is it for you to have the reservation confirmation numbers for dinner????

It's a nice-to-have-with-you-just-in-case kinda thing, but not crucial at all. You'll be just fine without them. When you check in at the podium of each dining location I'd be surprised if the Cast Member even asked for it. If they need to refer to your ADR they can look it up with your name or phone number. :)

If it makes you feel better to have them when you check in ask the CM to print your itnerary. I had lost my info and called dining and that's what they told me.

It doesn't help much to have confirmation numbers for ADRs. Last year I thought we had ADR at CP. I had the number with me, but it turns out our ADR was for somewhere in Epcot. We arrived about 20 minutes before time, and there was no way we could make it to Epcot in time. DD was disappointed that she didn't get to see Pooh. I didn't care too much about that, but I was hungry, and CS at Pop was just not what I had in mind. We made breakfast ressie at Boma and got to see AKL which we hadn't seen before so it worked out OK.

Actually, last December, we drove from OKW to GF for our dinner ressie at Narcoossee's. The guard did not want to let us in to park and could not find our name on his ADR list. I had to find our confirmation number which he was then use to look up our reservation before he would let us through the gate. I guess DH and I in our minivan look kind of shifty. :rotfl:

Needless to say, I plan on having our confirmation numbers when I go this year.
