I have a one week Fort Wilderness reservation, then a one day gap, and then another one week reservation again at Fort Wilderness. Both reservation are linked to the same MDE account. When I booked, I was not sure what days I would be able to travel so I booked the two reservations and booked ADR's for each reservation at exactly 180 days out from each check in day.
I am now planning on canceling the second reservation and I expect to will lose the ADR's that are associated with that reservation number. Since I never ever do anything without first checking DIS, I wanted the experts to confirm that canceling that second reservation would not have any effect the ADR's for the first reservation even though they are both linked to the same MDE account..
Would it be better to cancel the second reservation by phone or website?
When canceling an onsite reservation would that also automatically cancel and ADR that you have to pay for in advance (Hoop De Doo)? Or would I have to do that separate?
In hindsight should I have linked the reservations to seperate MDE accounts to better protect my ADR's or am I being too nervous about this?
