Does anyone know what the "grace period" is for showing up for an ADR? Do you have to be at the restaurant exactly at the time your ADR is for? Or do you have a few minutes after the ADR before they give your spot away? I'm just wondering what happens if we are running a few minutes late.

1. There's no guaranteed grace period, but most of the time the restaurants will hold your reservation for about 15 minutes.

2. It's recommended that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your reservation time. People often underestimate travel time or the wait in an attraction line so planning to arrive early gives a little cushion.

3. See #1, but if a restaurant is extremely busy and running far behind schedule, they may not have any grace period at all. We saw this happen once when a family was turned away. At a different restaurant the CM at the check in podium told a couple they were 16 minutes late and put them on the walk up list. One more thing to keep in mind is the restaurants won't let you check in until everyone in your group is there.
