Is there a penalty for not showing up for an ADR? If you change your mind for some reason and plan on not showing up, do you need to call and cancel?
if so how much notice is required? I know I gave my credit Card information for Fantasmic, but none for the others.
Thanks.

For ADRs that require a credit card (such as CRT and the one you mentioned), there is a penalty for no-shows. For ADRs that don't require a CC, there is no penalty, but it would be a good idea to call and cancel anyway so the slot could open up for someone else.

ADR's thart require a CC to book have a 48hour cancellation policy. If you no show for them it is a 25.00 per person no show fee charged to your CC.
ADR's that require no CC have no penalty if you no show. However please cancel as soon as you know that you are ot going to go to allow someone else to take your place:thumbsup2

Some ADRS require a credit card number to hold the spot. You are charged if you decide not to show. I don't recall how much the charge is or which restaurants it applies to, though. Sorry!

I'd advise you to cancel as soon as you know you won't make it. That way, someone else can get your reservation.

Thanks. I was thinking more in the way of same day (within hours) cancellation if something comes up at the last minute or if you get delayed.

Yes, this has happened with us too. But please call the dining number and cancel anyway. Sometimes folks are calling to get last-minute ADRs, or someone might be trying to get a walk-up table that your cancelation could free up.

Sorry this maybe a stupid question but will ask anyway, this is our first trip to WDW, Can you go to different resturants in different parks, even if you don't have a park hopper pass?

Sorry, but you would need a park hopper if you want to enter more than one theme park on a given day, regardless of the reason.
