ADR partial no show question?

Just speaking theoretically, when we go in October, we'll have ADR'S for our party of 4 (DH, DD11, DS3, and myself). Since DS3 is very much a stubborn soul and tends to get timeouts on occasion (cough, cough) I want to know what would happen if just DD and I show up for our ADR when we are supposed to be a party of 4 and we are just 2 - will we be charged no show for the whole party of 4? Or just for a party of 2?

Any thoughts? I realize this is a pretty specific question but I need to know before we get there and I threaten "you won't get to have breakfast with Mickey if...." Thanks so much!

We don't know for sure because it appears possible it could be at the discretion of the restaurant. We have only two reports so far that a partial party showed up, and they were not charged. Haven't seen a partial party get charged, yet, but that does not mean it won't happen. I haven't seen enough information at this time to say it would definitely not happen.

I got this from the FAQ on Dining:

Q = I have a dinner reservation for 10 Guests at a restaurant that uses the credit card guarantee policy. Only 8 Guests are able to make it to dinner. Will I still be charged $10 each for the 2 Guests who were unable to attend?

A = No. As long as you honor the reservation, then there will be no charge to your credit card.

I am going solo and they don't take ressies for 1 so I made a ressie for 2.
