If you have an ADR for example at 5:30pm on a party night (MVMCP) but have NO party ticket you will be okay to eat right? I just want to make sure that a few months down the road I'm not going to get a "sorry" message, I'm totally fine with leaving after I just feel like I have heard about them cancelling reservations of those who don't have the ticket.

yes.. if you end after the party starts (7pm) there might be a cast member escort to the exit but you can even go in right before party starts and eats... You just can't stay at the party when done so it's not a way to get into the party for free.

I do think in year's past there has been a cut-off time for ADR's on party nights, 6pm if I remember right. Any ADR before the cut-off time you should be fine, but anything after that there is a risk it would be cancelled. I am not sure of the last ADR time for this year's party, you may want to check on the MNSSHP thread.

With MK showing a 6:00p closing on 2017 Party nights, the last ADRs for non-party guests apparently are earlier than in years past.

Check carefully when booking any MK in-park ADR close to or after 6:00p if you are a non-party guest.

Thats what I was nervous about because we booked a 5:30 reservation but there was no *Attention* or anything to address party goers only, so I booked it.

There won't be an "attention" message. If you go to the restaurant page on the date you're dining, it will show the regular hours and the ADR hours for folks with a ticket to the party. I believe 6pm is the cutoff for non-party ADRs at MVMCP, so you're 5:30 should be okay.
