ADR Nightmare!

This morning we called to see if we could move the time of one of our ADR only to discover that all but 2 of our weeks worth of reservations had been cancelled by the CM! Only moments after we made them! After spending about 1 hour on the phone today, a supervisor is going to 'investigate' the situation and get back to us within 72 hours! We are sick! We have only 2 dining reservations and we leave in 26 days!!! Has this happened to anyone else?! We were basically told they could not get our reservations back and if they could prove that it was not our fault, they would call each restaurant and see if they could squeeze us in! We have our trip paid in full, not free dining and we have all confirmation numbers. This is our 3rd trip in 3 years and have never had a problem. We NEVER have double booked, never even cancelled or changed an ADR!! Any thoughts?!?!?
 
So sorry that happened. I sure hope they can squeeze you in to at least the majority of restaurants you had originally booked! Since you have your confirmation numbers they should accept fault and do something for you. Keep us updated on how things pan out for you.

This is one reason why I booked my ADRs online -- I don't trust anyone on the other end to be competent enough to do it. I dreaded actually having to call in to give my flight information, I would have much preferred to update it online but you can't. You were smart enough to keep your confirmation numbers and it could be the one thing that "saves" you. I can't imagine they will say, "too bad, so sad"...surely they will do something!

Interesting you should say that about making reservations online. We tried to do that first. Actually that is one of the 2 reservations that we still have! Since this was a last minute trip, we did not want to wait much longer knowing we could have issues getting in where we wanted to be. Learned our lesson!!! Praying for good news!!

This totally sucks for you guys!

I made 5 of our 6 online.

Our Make a Wish Coordinator made ours to CRT, and she didn't give me a confirmation number for that one. Which makes me a little nervous. That's the biggest thing my DD wants to do on her wish trip.

So sorry this happened to you!!! Oh my, this has always been a fear of mine. Before online ressies, I hated calling in for any kind of change to my ADRs because I always feared that a wrong keystroke would wipe me out:sad1:. I hope they are able to fit you in so you get back to the plans you originally made. Good luck!

So we got a call back today. They discovered agent error (big surprise!) and restored 2 of the reservations. We had already rebooked 3 on our own (at times that are not the best for us, but we were afraid of not having anything!) and did not loose 2 of them. So, we got our dining back, however, I am a bit disappointed in the attitude of those helping us. They said 'we got your 2 reservations back and have a magical trip!' how about an "We are sorry."?? Yes, we do have our dining back, however we were forced to make changes. They said 'you should be happy you got anything'......I guess they are right......not feeling the magic at the moment...........but I am sure that will change when I step onto Main Street in 24 days!!
Lesson learned after many trips......1.do NOT make reservations on the phone!! Make them ONLINE! 2. Keep those reservation numbers! 3. And Call to confirm!!

You could try calling Dining with the information that you have and they should be able to give you a confirmation number.

Are you paying OOP for this because they need a credit card number to book CRT?
