We will be staying at WL in June and are wondering how hard it is just to walk up at Whispering Canyon and get a table?

I wouldn't try it at peak mealtimes.

I would make reservations. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge in the summer a couple of years ago, loved the resort but couldn't get reservations for dinner until 9:00 in the evening. With small children this wasn't good for us. We did manage to get one evening a few evenings later and it was good.
