As many of you know, the reservation system was down for a while yesterday. As soon as it was back up, I snagged an 'Ohana breakfast reservation for next Thursday morning at 7:50 am. Woke up this morning and decided it was time to get my itinerary together, pulled up all of my reservations on MDE and it showed my 'Ohana reservation for 10:50 AM! I double checked my confirmation e-mail and sure enough, I really had made it for 7:50 am. So I called Disney Dining and the CM, at first, thought it was just a glitch with viewing issues on MDE, but when she looked, it showed 10:50 am for her as well. I think she played with it a little bit and while we were still on the phone, all of a sudden it showed up as 6:50 am! She then put me on hold to talk to someone else and then asked me to fax my e-mail confirmation to Dining help, which I did (thank goodness for efax!) Noel at Dining Help called me immediately and had the reservation back to 7:50 am. That's what it says now on MDE, but boy, I'm so nervous that when I walk up to the podium, there will be a problem!
Anyway, long story short - CHECK YOUR ADR'S on MDE. If there is a discrepancy between what you booked and what is showing, call Disney Dining ASAP. AND - bring your e-mail confirmations with you to the restaurant. If you don't check and the system messed up somehow, I don't know if they will be able to help you at the podium. Kudos to the CM's for resolving this REALLY quickly. My DS5 will be thrilled.
