Today is the 180 mark for me, I am attempting to make my ADR's for my June trip but the Disney website is being a pain. I have a deluxe dining plan on the reservation and supplied my confirmation number as to apply the dining plan to my reservation's and it isn't recognizing it still.

It is a vicious circle of logging in and then being told to supply my CC info for the reservation or it not saving my inputted confirmation number and then not realizing I have a vacation package.

Has anyone else had this issue?

ugh!! :confused3

ADRs must be held with a credit card now. Even if you have the DDP. This policy became effective in October. There will not be a charge unless you dont cancel and dont show. Now, Disney doesnt tell you, you may still be charged about $1 per reservation and then be refunded upon you fulfilling the reservation, some credit cards charge $1 for the hold being placed on your card.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the entire ADR rule change, or how it impacted things.

Now upon completing CC info, I get an error on the next page and no reservation...was hoping not to have to call.

Not all ADRS need a credit card hold. Just the ones in the list on the sticky thread on the Reservations board, where I am moving this. The list does include all character meals and signature restaurants. Make sure you read the sticky so you are well aware of the cancellation policy.

Just call. The web site seems to frequently have problems. It's SO much easier to just phone and make all your ADRs while talking to a real live person. And make sure you request email confirmation of each ADR.

I would just call. It would be faster than just trying the online over and over and getting frustrated.

I thought they all did, I made most our reservations before the change in October and when I called about this a few weeks ago, I was told all reservations now require a CC hold. Maybe I was just misinformed. :confused3

Unfortunately the CM was incorrect. Not all restaurants require a cc hold. At the top of this page is a sticky that lists the dinner shows, signature restaurants and character meals that now require a cc hold. Reservations made before Oct 26 that didn't require a cc are not affected. However, if you make changes to a reservation at this time at one of the listed restaurants, you will have to include a cc #.
