When I made my ADRs, I made them for a party of 5. Kids 8,5,2. I requested a highchair. Now I am thinking no way will the little guy sit in a highchair -- he'll turn 3 during our trip. Do I need to reschedule? It is still the same 5 people.

I don't think it'll matter - since the reservation is for 5 people. If the restaurant has it marked for a high chair, you can just tell them you don't need one.

If I remember right, they put the highchair in place of a regular chair anyway, so it won't matter.

When you check in, just let the host/hostess know that you won't need the hi chair. They will take care of it for you. Don't change your ADR's since the number of people isn't changing.

Thanks. I was concerned that they may squeeze a highchair at a table for 4.

No, they won't. There was another thread about how a high chair needs to be counted as a person. So you had five people then, five people now. You are fine. Just frees up a high chair for someone else.
