I am new to posting, but have been reading reviews for quite a while. My family is leaving for WDW on June 19. This will be my third trip and my family's second. We have never done the DDP before and I want to make sure that we make the best choices. I know it is short notice, but I have been able to make a couple of reservations as late as today. Here's what I have so far.

Cape May (dinner)
Crystal Palace (dinner)
Le Cellier (lunch) I got this one today
Breakfastosaurus
Concourse (dinner)
Rose and Crown (dinner)
Mama Melroses (lunch)

Any other suggestions? There was still some availability at Ohana's (dinner) but it was after 9:00 pm. Late dinners are probably not a problem for us as we generally stay up late.

Your choices look good. I can't comment too much, but the reviews for Breakfastosaurus haven't been to good lately. Are you looking for a good breakfast character meal or a restaurant in/near AK?

I would recommend Boma if you are looking for a restaurant near AK. It is a good restaurant and I like both breakfast and dinner. It is also a nice place to bring the family and wander around a bit.

Other than that, it looks like you will enjoy yourself.

Oh, yes. Ohana would be good. Or try Kona. That is my favorite WDW restaurant.

Thanks for the info. I did add WCC (lunch) this evening as well. I think I will call back tomorrow and change my breakfast ( I have been skeptical about that one) I really want a meal with Pluto, but not if it is going to be horrible!

are you aware that the lunches you have scheduled are using up a table service not a counter service which will short you on your dinners. i only mention this because some folks who are new to the DDP misunderstand and think they are getting 1 snack 1 lunch and 1 dinner per day.

I am aware that I will use 1 TS for each of the meals that I have scheduled. There are some places I wanted to try, and I could not get a dinner.

I like WCC a lot. I have never been for lunch, but I know it will be good. If there is a chance of moving it to dinner, try Flaming Tree at AK for CS lunch. Another one of my favotires. I am trying to talk my DBF in going there everyday for lunch during our August trip. :rotfl:

Also, Kona is really good. I would recommend it if you do want to eat at the Poly earlier than 9 pm. But if you do go to the Poly, you must hit Tambu lounge before dinner.

Cape May for dinner is kind of mixed. Boma is my go-to recommendation, but I doubt you can get in now. If not that, maybe Biergarten?

Chef Mickey at Contemporary and Garden Grill at Epcot had Pluto!

I would try Kona or how about the Grand Floridian Cafe for a nice lunch? I'm planning on going to GFC in December. The menu looks pretty good with lots of different options and I've read some good reviews as well. Plus, when you're done eating (or before, depending on your ADR time) you can stroll around the grounds of the resort, check out the beach and lounge in one of those big canopy chaise lounges that are there :beach: or have a nice cocktail at the pool bar! :drinking1
