Hi guys

Could somebody please help me with the following - I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread!

What date can I start booking my ADR's. I travel on the 25th Sept.

Also what reference/booking number do I need to get from Virgin Holidays to be able to do this

What number do I call to book the ADR

Also......

What dining with charactor's meal would you recommend for ...
A) Winnie the Pooh and friends
B) Disney Princess

I don't mind paying 2 meal credits - if you know what I mean

Thanks in advance

Are you staying on-site or off-site? If on-site, then you can start booking 90days from your arrival date, plus 10 days. So, if you phoned 90 days out, you could book 25th September through 5th October. If you are off-site, then it is just 90 days in advance and you will need to keep calling every day and make individual bookings.

If you pop over to the dining section on the main website here, there is an ADR calculator - you input your arrival date and it will tell you when you can start phoning. :goodvibes

I've only ever been on-site when booking ADRs, and until this year, that's always been with VH. I have just told them that I have booked with a UK tour operator, and they are usually happy enough to take the VH reference number. They generally take extra details too - name, address, telephone number (I guess so they can attach your ADRs to your ressie).

The full international number is: 001-407-WDW-DINE or 001-407-939-3463

A) Winnie the Pooh and friends
B) Disney Princess

A) Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom - Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet
B) Princess Storybook Dining, Norway, Epcot - Belle, plus the following (although not always all of them): Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Jasmine

Neither are 2 table service credits; they are both single credits. However, the Princess Storybook Dining will require a credit card as insurance because if you do not cancel in time (I think 24hrs), then you will be charged about $10 per person.

If you are staying onsite - they should except your name, resort details and date of arrival - this was all we needed.

When I rang and did 90+10 this is how they found my hotel reservation but it took between 15-20 mins trying many ways to find it.
2nd time at DTD guest services 2 weeks ago he found it eventually using my surname and postcade but still took him almost 10 mins.
3rd time(yesterday) I gave my US 12 digit Res# I had noted down from 1st call, found it straight away.

The DIS ADR calc was a day out, I don't know if they have corrected it, I used this one. http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php

Here are your PS Call Dates for 9/25/2009
You can make your 90 Day Advanced Reservations on 06/27/2009

If onsite you can do your 1st 10 days on 27th of this month.

Looking for some advice on ADRs. . .

DH and I are going in October, this will be our second visit to WDW. How essential are ADRs? It seems from the boards that pretty much everyone does this. During our first trip we didn't make any reservations before leaving, just a couple of bookings made first thing in the morning when arriving at the park. For this trip though have a few places we'd definately like to go like Chef Mickey's.

Do you think it would be impossible to get reservations if we wait until we are actually at WDW?

Dates you are going is low season you will probably be OK at many places but any you are certain you want and/or popular places then book in advance.
We wanted a beakfast and a eve meal at Chef Mickeys. Booked Breakfast at 90+10 days but for evening meal decided to wait a couple of weeks until we were in WDW(this was May and booking for August trip) couldn't get Chef Mickeys for any of the evening we had spare. This was still over 2 months in advance.
On the other hand we have just turned up at Trails end & Boma and got seated within 20 mins no problem. Boma was very quiet at Xmas when all the theme park places were fully booked.
If you want places like Le Cellier, Cali Grill etc book them, other places you will be fine.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping, think I will make an ADR for Chef Mickeys as I think I'd be disappointed if I couldn't get in
