ADR for MK restaurant on a night of MVMCP without an event ticket.

Uh, no it's not. I was an operations manager at the MK and worked many MNSSHP's and there were nights we absolutely directed guests to use the restrooms outside the entrance gates. Not all, but some. EDITED: NM, I looked at the poster's name. That explains it.
There’s a difference between directing guests and physically preventing them from entering a bathroom

We are planning to spend the day at MK on Friday 11/7. It is the first night of MVMCP but we did not purchase event tickets. I know that we can make reservations for a MK restaurant up until 6PM on that day and are expected to leave the park when our meal is finished. My question is: how do they police this? Is there any way for anyone to know if we stay and catch some of the festivities on our way out of the park?
We did Cinderella's Royal Table on a MNSSHP night with a 5:45 reservation, no party tickets. After it was over, they put a special wristband on us as we left and a CM escorted us out along with about ten other guests. She let our group stop for photos next to the castle, but she seemed to indicate she wasn't even supposed to do that. She would not allow anyone to break off the group, and even said we needed to wait until we were outside the park to use the restroom.

So it's fairly strict, and you're escorted straight out. There would not be any opportunity to "catch some of the festivities" other than seeing what's going on as you leave. Every attraction requires a party wristband to get in line, and any CM who sees you without one will escort you out immediately. You'd be playing with fire if you tried to push it. Remember that WDW can track you by your magicband/app essentially all the time and they have numerous mechanisms for ensuring the guests enjoying the park have paid for the experience.

I still feel that it was a fantastic timeslot for Cinderella's Royal Table though because it didn't eat up any of our normal park time and extended our day without requiring us to buy a party ticket.
