ADR for Mama Melroses @4:20pm-Parade@3:30pm....

Where do we stand? Hopefully this is not a stupid question, but how long is the parade and will we make it to Mama Melrose's for our ADR? Where can we stand where we'll be very close to the restaurant but still see the parade at DS.

I don't think you'll have any problem getting to your ADR. The parade is pretty short, 25 minutes tops. Just stand closer to the start of the parade and it'll be over for you by 4:00 or so. Maybe watch anywhere from the start near Star Tours to over near the Sorcerer Hat. It'll only take you 5 minutes to walk to Mama M's.

Based on the time of your ADR, I'm presuming you booked the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We had a FDP ADR for 4:30 at MM's. We barely got through with dinner by 6:15 and had to be at the entrance for Fantasmic by 6:30 (for a 7:00 Fantasmic). I don't know if we just had slow service, but the point of this was, if you have the FDP at MM's, be aware of what time it is.

When I went I had the same problem, my ADR was at 4:30, and the parade was at 4:00, so I actually had a little less time then you. I would suggest watching it from where it starts, near Indiana Jones / Star Tours, and going immediatly to Mama's from there. I just made my ADR, so you should be fine.

I have the same exact issue but with the hollywood brown derby. Man does the dinner really take that long? I was hoping to squeeze in a show or a ride between dinner and fantasmic.

Ha ha, I'm going to walk in, sit down, and just say "I want a coke, a salad, the fish and something chocolate" Maybe that will cut down the time on the waiter walking back and forth!

I would have to agree with this! We were there on Saturday and the same thing happened to us. We have a small infant and I didn't even have a chance to change his diaper. You should have enough time with the parade though. We had a 4:20 as well.
