ADR for Grand Floridian Cafe?

hi folks, hubby and I are staying late Aug at Grand Floridian...do we need ADRs for lunch at GF cafe?

Interested to know as well. DH and I are at poly end of next month and thought maybe we could do walk ups to GF cafe and kona for lunch. If not walk ups, we could do a last min ADR.

Smaller the part size and ability to dine at non-prime times improves your time. Party of one or two improves the odds as most people visiting WDW are in larger groups, but there are more table for larger groups too. Overall, no one can predict your chances without an ADR...it could be a possibility or totally out of the question, especially if free dining is going on (have not followed the dates this year).

1) Usually, no, but we ALWAYS make a lunch ADR.
2) Sometimes, it does get crowded.
