Hi,

We are planning to go to Disney in August with our severely autistic 13 year old son. We are told by friends who have an autistic child to get a pass for disability compensation at the park when we arrive. I have also been reading about the breakfast at Crystal Palace before the park opens and how this is wonderful for photos, etc. I guess I'm trying to decide which is more worthwhile as we won't go back down Main Street to get the disability pass.

Does anyone know if we would be able to get the pass BEFORE going in to the breakfast?

moving from the dining reviews board to the DISAbilities board. Someone here will be able to answer your question

good luck :)

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

Normally Guest Relations will be open any time Guests are in the park. So if you have a breakfast reservation at or prior to scheduled park opening you should be able to obtain a Guest Assistance Card (GAC) from Guest Relaitons at City Hall.

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. Post #6 deals with the GAC.

Or, if you want an easier route, click on the link in my signature.

Also, you might want to look at other threads in this forum, and the sub-forum disABILITIES Community Board where there tend to be many discussions about autism and the spectrum.
