ADR for Cinderella Royal Table and DDP

Question about ADRs. According to the website below, you need to pay for CRT when you make your ADR

"Some reservations have to be paid in full in advance. Those include -
Cinderella's Royal Table
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review
Mickey's Backyard BBQ

No-shows at these dining experiences will not receive a refund."

So how does that work with the DDP? I would want CRT to be one of our Table Service restaurants (even if 2 credits).

For people that have (and choose to use) the DDP for pre-paid ADRs (CRT, dinner shows), it just require a credit card guarantee. If you don't show or don't cancel in time, you will be charged the full amount.

Your dining plan should be associated with your resort reservation, which will allow you to book online with just the cc guarantee, and not have to pay in full.

However, the website does not always work the way it should. If it looks like it is going to charge you, I would call the dining line and make your ADR over the phone.

How quickly does CRT fill up? I was planning on starting online at 6am (esp as we really want BOG and CRT) so would worry I would lose chance of getting CRT on the night that we want.

Also...my husband booked the trip but I will be doing ADRs...so will that cause issues linking my CC to our DDP? Or does it use the reservation # we were given?

Now that BOG is the "hot ticket" at MK, it seems that CRT is slightly easier to get. When you go online at 6am, BOG is definitely your #1 priority, so you are right to want to do that first.

Is a cc already linked to your MDE? I don't think you will have a problem with using your cc if the resort reservation is in his name, but I have always been the main name of the resort reservation and for the ADR cc guarantee, so I can't say for sure.

Well, my husband's CC might be linked for the deposit, but there's no way he'd be getting up at 6am on a Sunday (he already thinks I'm nuts...and wants to stay out of the Disney planning outside of the original booking). But my name is on the booking, and we have a reservation #. So would it link up to our DDP? Gosh...why is this all so complicated?

we did not have a resort reservation when I made my ADRs last year so I had to make the CRT ADR at exactly 180 days and I had no problem getting one for the exact time (noon) that I wanted it.

the only issue you might have is all the nights that MNSSHP is scheduled; ADRs on those nights would be limited. 4 of the 6 nights we were at the parks last Fall the party was going on, I was glad that I had planned all along to make a lunch ADR for CRT
