ADR for Chef Mickey ?'s

Hi

We're usually counter service people, but we want to try Chef Mickey's this time. I can get an ADR for 8:20pm on the date I want. This is really much later than I would like for us to eat, but if I go ahead and make the ADR can I change it to an earlier time if one becomes available? Do I pay by credit card when I make the ADR? Is that a problem for changing times? Any other advice you have is appreciated! Thanks!

I am having the same problem for our upcoming trip. You can keep calling to TRY to find an earlier time...but that is going to be hard...it will be just luck of the draw that you call right at the time that someone else cancels! I have been calling like everyother day just to see if I could luck out and I haven't...today the lady was very nice but let me know that my chances were slim to find one...since Disney doesn't require a credit card to hold that ressie people will make them and then just not cancel (which is rude because so many people want to get in).
