I have made a dinner ADR at R&C at Epcot. We are expecting another couple to join us, so made the reservation for 4. Now they are saying that they are not sure if they will be able to make it.

Should I leave the ADR as is? If our friends do not show, will we still be seated at the reserved time, or will we have to wait for a table for 2?

What about the same situation for larger groups? I foresee this being an issue with our family group trip in 2007.

If there is a chance they will make it, I'd leave it as-is. It won't be a big deal to show up with 2 and just tell them at check-in that 2 in your party won't be coming. As a party of two, we are often seated at 4 toppers anyways. This way, if they do come, you won't have a problem getting a table for 4.

I am not sure about large groups, but I would think group dining could give you a better idea on what to do.
