ADR for 7 but now have 8 ppl

My son's gf decided to join us at WDW for a few days during our trip. I already had ADR's for everything. She will be there for 4 meals. I was able to get her attached to 2/4 reservations.

Here is the deal. Even though our reservations are for 7 my daughter will sit on our laps. Unfortunately she has a high chair aversion. She is 2 yrs old. At Kona and LeCellier we have 2 tables. I'm planning on just walking up with 8 ppl. Even if they put us at 2 tables how many of their tables are for 3 ppl? I think it will work out.

What do you guys think? What do you guys think will happen when I arrive with 8 ppl? We really do not even need an extra chair!

You should be ok, but you should also call and see if they can switch you head count from 7 to 8, just to be safe.

Also, you may all be at one table, even if they told you when you booked you would be at two. We have had that happen before.

I did call and they could not switch 7 to 8. They had to redo the reservations oddly enough.

Don't worry, just show up with 8 and they will fit her in. We did this during Easter week in 2007 - my Dsis decided to join us a few days before our trip. I tried to change our ADRs from 6 to 7 - but they said there was nothing available. She didn't join us for our first ADR for fear of being turned away - and there was actually an extra chair at our table! So, for all the rest of our meals, we just showed up with an extra person and they didn't even bat an eye. We had absolutely no problems getting seated. Have a great trip!

There is no possible table set for seven that can't fit eight. Just can't happen.

I added another person to my ADR's going from 5 to 6 and we could not keep our same times, we had to make new ADR's at different times. You could try it, but don't be disappointed if you are turned away! It probably wont happen, but there is ALWAYS a chance Good luck!
