ADR for 3, but only 2 show up

I've made ADR's for me, dh and dd(15) for October. Due to work, dh may not be able to go on the trip with us. We won't know if he can join us or not until a week or two before the trip. What happens if we show up for the ADR's and it's just the two of us?

Which restaurant is it? If it doesn't require a CC hold, then there's no problem. If it does, you will be charged the no-show fee for the missing person.

The only ADR I have that required a CC hold was the Norway Princess Breakfast.

The others are:

I can tell you from personal experience that Akershus will charge if one person does not show up. Last Sept I was sick one morning, so sent my husband and mom on to Akershus without me. I thought that as long as my party showed up we would not be charged. Wrong! After we returned there was a charge on my credit card. I called to check about it and was told that it was for one no show at Akershus.

Your other reservations would not charge you the no show fee.

I have a similar problem - have ADR for 4 at Aker. for brft., but now only need 2. Haven't been able to get anything for 2 -had been wondering if I would be charged if I showed w/2 - were you charged the $10 fee, or for whole meal? I'm just trying to figure out what I should do - I have to call CM and see if they can chage the # on the reserv.(I've only tried online).

We have a Nov. ADR for CG and were told that we would be charged $20 for each person that doesn't show.

Not sure about $$ or credits, but I can tell you how at least one restaurant handled it.

This happened to us last May at 1900 Park Fare. One of my nieces ended up very very sick and she & Mommy couldn't go. They were beyond accomodating and got me and my other niece in an hour earlier than our ADR, even though we were only a party of two. (We were unsure at the time if sick niece would have to go to the hospital, wanted to get well niece out of the room because things were tense at that point!) We were on the dining plan so no clue how many credits they used. Didn't really care how many they used because they were so great!!!!!

Not sure what the policy is for that venue; but I assume if they mentioned something about $10, that's what they would charge you. I doubt they would charge for the entire meal, since CG wouldn't be doing that.
