Is there an ADR FAQ somewhere? I've looked at all the stickies and info here at the site but still can't find an answer to what I thought were simple questions, lol.

1. I've got my hotel confirmation # and the 407-WDW-DINE number to make my ADRs. Do I need anything else?

2. Should I call the above # or the actual restaurant itself? What is the difference?

TIA!

1) No, you should not need anything else - unless you are booking a reservation that requires prepayment or a credit card hold - then you will need a credit card. If you plan to book Cinderella's Royal Table, one of the three dinner shows, Akershus Storybook Princess meals, a Fantasmic Dinner Package or California Grill you should have a credit card.

2) You should call 407-WDW-DINE to make dining reservations at Disney restaurants. Only a few restaurants - mostly at Downtown Disney - require that you call the restaurant directly for reservations.

Thanks so much! I am hoping to get Raglan Road one nite. That is DTD, should I call RR directly? Can I call at 7 AM when I call for Boma?

(I'm sorry if this stuff has been asked a million and one times. I looked, I really did!)

No, you can make Raglan Road ADRs through 407-WDW-DINE. It is not all DTD restaurants that can't, just a couple of them (I think at this point it may be just Portobello and Paradiso 37)

I'm new at this, why do you need a credit to book these ADR's if you are on the dining plan?:

"If you plan to book Cinderella's Royal Table, one of the three dinner shows, Akershus Storybook Princess meals, a Fantasmic Dinner Package or California Grill you should have a credit card."

Thanks.

These reservations have a no-show fee that is assessed (regardless of DDP) if you don't show up for your reservation without canceling within the time line given to you by Disney. Generally it's 24 hours in advance. If you make an ADR that requires a CC hold, they'll let you know what the cancellation policy is.

Because they will charge you for them if you are a no-show.

Before you start booking they will need your name, add, city state zip, phone #, email, & conf # & dates you will be there. Then you can start booking your ress.
