If I booked my ADRs on the phone w/a CM, will I still get an email confirmation? She went thru my reservation & gave me all my confirmation #s. I never received an ADR email on our previous trips, but was wondering if they started doing that now that ADRs are online.
It would be nice to double check after all the problems the system had yesterday.

I booked most on the phone yesterday and then retrieved them today and had an e-mail sent. If you have an account on the wdw site, log in and then you can retrieve your dining reservations if you have the confirmation number and the phone number you used to make them. After they are retrieved, you can have them sent to your e-mail and I also think they stay on your wdw profile.
They do not automatically e-mail them if you booked by phone, they are only automatically e-mailed with an online booking.
Hope that helped.

Yes, I have an account. Where do you put that info in to pull them up? I can't find the spot to do that. Under dining reservations?

I pull up my resort ressie & still cannot find where to get my ADRs. Help please!

I just answered this in another thread:

If you are already registered on the Walt Disney World site you need to login first. If not register and then login. Once logged in, you will see 'My Disney Vacation' in the top right corner. If you hover your cursor over this, a drop down list will appear. Click on 'Dining Reservations' at the bottom of the list. This will open the Dining Reservations page. You enter in your dining confirmation number and the phone number you made the reservation against. You can select 'Retrieve Multiple Reservations' for as many reservations as you have made. It will open up another confirmation number/phone number line each time you click it. Once you have all of your information entered click 'Retrieve Dining' and it will bring up all of the reservations.

I hope this helps.

I did those steps & I am getting stuck at the dining ressie page. Instead of going to dining, it keeps making me login again.

Okay, I finally got the dining page while logged in. Now where is the spot to put in the conf#? There is nowhere here to do that.

I am going crazy here. Every time I go to the next page, it logs me out. I have to keep re logging in. Is this a problem w/the website?

Sounds like a browser problem.

First off, which web browser are you using? Typically the Disney site recommends either Firefox or Internet Explorer (MSIE).

If one of those, it's most likely a cookie setting.

In MSIE (note, these steps are for MSIE 7.0, if using another version they should be similar, but may not be exact):
Go to Tools -> Internet Options
On the General Tab there's an area called "Browsing History" with a delete and settings tab, click Delete
On here there will be several options, delete the Temporary Internet Files as well as Cookies.
Click OK then reload the page and relog in

In Firefox (note: this is using 3.5.3, like above, steps may vary, but they should be similar)
Go to Tools -> Options
Click onto the Privacy tab
Click the "Show Cookies" button
Click the Remove All Cookies button
Click OK to close out the windows
Relog into the Disney page and try again

If this still doesn't work, it's likely settings somewhere on either of those pages relating to how cookies work. Make sure to have them set to allow cookies as well as allow third-party cookies (if available). You can change this setting back to what you had it after if you so desire.

If none of that works, then it could be either a setting from your network (could be typical if at work trying to do it, far, far less likely from home if you didn't set that up.) I don't know enough about networking to have a solution to that though, and chances are, if at work, the IT department did it for a reason and would be unlikely to adjust it for this.

ETA:
I forgot the original reason for replying ><, I did notice that after I booked Yak & Yeti today (via online), I went through and added the other 11 confirmations I got yesterday (via phone) and it only was sending me Yak & Yeti. I haven't tried relogging in and out yet, to try again, but we'll see. At least I have copies of my ADR confirmation numbers both by hand (when I was talking to her) as well as in my planning doc (which is housed on my work comp, my home comp, as well as my inbox from when I sent it over to home :p).

Thanks! This is from my home laptop which is a Mac. I will have my DH check into it b/c I am computer illiterate. I may be calling to cancel an ADR anyway so that will tell me the ADRs are still there.
Thanks everyone for your help!

Ugh, Macs. How I dislike them so much! (At least, from a technical standpoint...they sure look pretty though!)

At anyrate, best guess (since I don't know much about macs in general) would still be along the same lines or a general incompatibility (they don't have the best programmers...). Especially since the site works for us over here in Windows world. Hopefully the hubby can help, there's only so much you can glean from reading forum posts and it's much easier to do it in person. (I even hate trying to help my mom with her computer over the phone ><, can be so many different things that I just can't explain how to check, I guess that's why I'm quality assurance and not tech support!)

Good luck and hope it gets all sorted out.
