ADR Concerns

How is the new system (90 day) working out for everyone that is calling right on the 90 day mark or thereabouts? I am hoping it would be working well. However, I've been told that it is REALLY hard to get everything you want, for example, it's going to be hard to go to dinner to a nicer restaraunt and maybe go to lunch there instead.

I'm just a bit confused because I've read different things. I was just wondering how hard of a time I'm going to have making my reservations (small table of 3) if I call first thing on the 90th day prior to my trip.

I have a list of all table service places, mostly earliest lunch (11 ish) and early dinner (around 6 ish) as well as a few breakfasts late (around 10). I have read that places get more crowded after 7 p.m., so it was my philosophy to have dinner earlier. I'm thinking that I shouldn't worry, but I've kinda been told otherwise.

If someone could give me some insight on how this really works, I would appreciate it! I do remember, but it's been several years, that we had a trip planned and I made ADR (well past the mark) and didn't have any issues. I know things change, etc. I'm just curious. Also, at the time of booking these reservations, do you tell them if you are one of the dining plans? Thank you so much!!:)

I should add this also, should I simply go down the list day by day when doing my reservations or should I start with the most popular places that may be harder to get a reservation first?

Oh, and what if your 90 day mark falls on a weekend? Are they open on S & S to take reservations, or is that just M-F?? Thanks a lot!!:)

We booked our trip 80 days before were going, and we called around 75 days before. We got all the restaurants, on the days and time we wanted. I don't think it is as hard as you have heard. We had a "back up" place for each just in case, but didn't have to use any of them. Good Luck!

Since everyone is restricted to 90 days, it is no worse than when everyone had 180 days.

It shouldn;t be an issue whether it is 90 days or 180 days.AS for making your ressies , always start with the most popular, or the restaurants you are desperate to have and then go down the list.Disney dining is open weekends and holidays.

Don't stress. If you call 90 days out the only problem you might have is Le Cellier or CRT but that would only be during peak season.

I wouldn't be too worried - I called this morning for 6 days worth of ADRs beginning on April 19th and got everything we wanted for times between 5:30 - 7pm - including Le Cellier.

The only thing I didn't get that was on our list was the Fantasmic package for Mama Melrose - the only times available were 3:30 and 3:45 - which seemed a bit early for dinner - so I booked for 6:30 instead and I guess we will take our chances getting into Fantasmic after then. :goodvibes

Oh good! That's what I was guessing, that maybe I was being misled into "crazy worrying" for no reason! Thanks for putting unecessary stress to rest! I'm excited and can't wait! And, of course, can't wait for that good food!:thumbsup2

The dining reservation line opens at 7AM ET every day of the year.

I made all of my ADRs for our Feb 13-20th trip within the past week. We got everything we wanted close to the time we wanted except Ohana.
I could have gotten Ohana on a different day though but didn't want to change everything around

The difference is that A LOT more people will be ready for ADRs at the 90 day mark than were ready at 180. I am already in a twist about my ADRs for August.

I would ABSOLUTELY list your ADRs in order of how popular the restaurant is instead of going day by day.

Good luck! pixiedust:

If you want CRT and are within 180 days call now (still doing 180 days out for it) we aren't due to arrive til may 22 and we booked breakfast at CRT.
