ADR/Character Dining

We are staying off site the week of March 26 but will be doing at least 2 days at Disney for sure (Monday and Wednesday are likely). Last year while we were at MK we ended our day with dinner at Crystal Palace and had a great time. Wondering if I'm too late to book something this time - MK or AK. DD is 6 and likes anything Disney. Any suggestions? Last year we had everything booked months in advance but because of somethings that have come up at work, I'm much later this go-round. If I did luck out and managed to book something, is it a big deal to cancel if need be? Any help or advice would be appreciated. TIA!

I answered my own question. LOL

Went online and got a 8:20 ressie for Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House on the Monday. We are going to miss the rope drop but I think the character breakfast will be a great way to start off our day.

When you are done with breakfast get in line for KS, then get in line for EE since you will be near those at Tusker House. If you ride those. Have a great time, it is a nice breakfast and interaction is pretty good with the characters.

We used to be in the Buffalo area every year. We used to make an annual weekend trip to Salvatore's every April....its my fave restaurant ever. And Althea's chocolate or something it was called..we always stopped in there to get a little treat before our dinner reservations. Haven't been in a few years though.

It is so unbelievably cold out there right now. -21c/-6f. At least the windchill seems to be gone - for now. Brrrr. I keep thinking of warm, Florida sun. Well, when I'm there anyway. No matter what, it'll be warmer than it is here right now.
