I tend to agree with Nicole. My general rule of thumb is that if I am making reservations during my 180+10 day window, I get up with the roosters and do it on-line. Theoretically, everything should be pretty much wide open and I like having the extra hour to play with. If I am inside the 180 window, I find working with a live person to be better because they can see more than you can on your screen. If your choice of restaurants is not availabe during the time you checked, you have to search again for each additional day. The person on the phone can more quickly tell you what is available during the time window you are looking at, and what day(s) your specific restaurant might be available. Once inside your 180 day window, the extra hour from 6:00-7:00 is largely valueless. Doesn't hurt to try the on-line system first. But if you aren't finding what you want, it can help to talk to a live person.
